@user-qh1on4wn7n Whether or not construction engineers with a PE license can design and seal their own drawings depends on several factors, including: Jurisdiction: Engineering licensing and regulations vary by country and state/province. In some regions, like most of the United States and Canada, PE license holders generally have the authority to seal their own drawings for projects within their area of expertise, provided they meet specific requirements. In other areas, like the United Kingdom, engineers may need to be registered with a specific Chartered Engineering institution to seal drawings. Project type and complexity: Some jurisdictions may have restrictions on the types of projects that PE license holders can seal drawings for. For example, complex or high-risk projects may require additional review or approval from a more senior engineer or another licensed professional. Employer or client requirements: Even if permitted by law, some employers or clients may have their own internal policies that prohibit engineers from sealing their own drawings. This could be due to concerns about conflicts of interest, liability, or quality control. Experience and competence: Regardless of the specific regulations, it's important for engineers to only seal drawings for projects where they have the necessary experience and competence. This helps ensure the safety and integrity of the project. I hope this information helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Anthony just wanted to say thank you for your content on this channel! I took my HVAC PE exam last week and found out I passed this week! I watched A LOT of your videos and found them very helpful in getting ready for both my FE and PE exams. Keep up the great work!
Hi! Thanks a lot for your continuous effort. I have a general question: i will take the PE Civil Water. If I encounter a construction problem when I choose the Water Discipline , is it the same difficulty as problems in the construction discipline exam? Let’s say again I take the water discipline, would be a problem about soil and geotechnical, be the same difficulty as I take the geotechnical discipline?!
I have this concert because my major in BSc was environmental engineering and we didn’t take any transportation or geotechnical courses. I did the practice exam issued by NCEES for water discipline and I found the problems regarding soil, geotechnical, and transportation are difficult because I don’t have prior knowledge. So i am planning to get the basic of these topics by reviewing practice problems from geotechnical discipline and transportation discipline that are here in youtube.
@@davidameer1763 it is. There is no distinction to our knowledge, construction problems are construction problems, you will just get less of them in Water Resources, so we recommend preparing for them.
Ramiro it depends what "building engineer" means and really what you did in that job. You will need to contact the US State Education Dept for the State you wish to be licensed and tell them what you did in a few paragraphs and see what they say. It could possibly count.
@@ramiromarquez3202 it sounds like it might qualify, but to be sure you will need to contact the US State Education Dept for the State you wish to be licensed and tell them what you did in a few paragraphs and see what they say.
