I used to work in call center we dealt with Irish, Canada and uk. Guess which countries callers we always dreaded. Yep you guessed it. Reckon about 80% of them are mentally stuffed. One second they're cheery then they're agitated in seconds. You could feel the veins bulging. Looking at these videos I now understand why.
Heavy industry has been dismantled and taken away by the British government, even the cinema, film making has been taken away due to the cinema tax, and all but a remnant went to the United States. We are left with such dregs of society as the modern day police force
No common sense of real life living. The road was dead and a simple move along should have been advised. This country has lost its way in the basic life meanings. Nobody gives a damm about the little things in life. Shame on us all.
I know, it's crazy. It's almost like the wardens in the video told him to move on, and he didn't, requesting he be allowed to just 'pop inside' Oh wait...
Are you watching the same thing as me? He gave him ample opportunity to move along but this guy wants to argue and question if he can go in to his house and grab his stuff while he's illegally parked. Which is a no, he got his answer, he could then move along but no he argues it. He then questions if he can sit in his car with the engine on, the guy points out it says no waiting or loading. So again, he got the simple answer and could have moved along but yet again he chooses to sit and argue. Then when he goes to put a ticket on his vehicle he claim he's only there because he's speaking to them, what kinda nonsense is that? "Yeah, I'm gonna illegally park here to ask them if I can illegally park here and when they say no I'm gonna argue with them whilst illegally parked but it's ok because I'm speaking to them."
thats the case it seems on alot of things in life, if something is unfair people should stand up and argue the case because governmnet local/national will do everything in their power to tax, fine or imprison you everytime.
If not payed for a parking fine for 10 plus years. Bailiff letters from 3rd party and letters from the council and ignored the lot of them. I park were i want as long as I’m not blocking any drive or loading bay. If you don’t believe me I can send you proof. It’s all a scam. EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT.
'Civil Enforcement Officers are exempt from most parking restrictions while carrying out their duties. 'Parking on double yellow lines is included in this exemption. While officers will always seek alternative parking this is not always practicably possible.'
What am I obviously not reading ? the bit where you state... Civil Enforcement Officers are exempt from most parking restrictions ? They are not exempt from parking on the pavement while blocking someones drive so they can go down a street dishing out tickets.
@@kevinhorgan2770 to be honest if he's blocking a pavement and won't move it out the way, its a little wrong but these wardens were slightly snowflakey
They tried this at a house I lived at, despite us owning the property, the council would fine us for parking our own cars in front of our house (for more then 24hr), saying that the car parks in front of the house where for visitors and service vehicles only, they even finned people for parking there cars in "incorrect" direction, its was a small back street not a main road FFS. Council workers are the lowest form of life on this planet.
Why don’t people realise, this is a job. You work as a builder a fireman, a carpenter at a bank just these civil enforcement officers work at ticketing illegally parked cars. If you work as a builder and someone asked you to install non-fire retardant cladding on a block of flats, but tell you they know it’s illegal but they want to save money… would you?. If your a fireman, and tested your oxygen tank and realised it’s got 20 seconds of often left. But when you arrive the homeowner says oh I think my baby is inside… would you run in with 20 seconds of oxygen left after your boss said don’t do it. Another crew is 1 minute away. If you worked in a bank and a customer said please can I withdraw £1,000 yet the cashier checks and says you only have £500 in credit. If you was to say, Oh but you don’t understand, I only need it for 10 minutes! My kids haven’t eaten I only need it for just 10 minutes because I’m going to try and gamble and double your £500 so you that have £1,000…. Do you really think that the bank is going to just give out an extra £500 because someone’s kids haven’t been fed?. My point is here, you wouldn’t expect it from other jobs, so why expect it from these?. At the end of the day if you are not illegally parked then they’d be no issue to begin with… Before anyone says well yeah but their pointless jobs. No their not. I’ve never worked as a ticket person but I know for personal experience that if someone parks illegally if they do not give them a ticket and an accident occurs their just as culpable. Illegal parking has lead to hit & runs, theyve lead to violence among car drivers. Children have been knocked down out side a school. Roads have been blocked. Now, fine. I concede that not every illegal parking or unloading leads to accidents and/or violence HOWEVER… if they did not take care of EVERY situation in its own merit then they wouldn’t be doing their jobs well enough. Once again, Just like you if you work in a bank and your supervisor says excuse me, can you shut the vault up and make sure it’s locked tonight please. You forget to do it. However your supervisor finds out. Even though nothing happened your still given a formal written warning. Do I think these and a lot of others take things way toooooo far:! Yes. There was no real need for the police to be called… However you did become agitated and upset when this bloke did his job. They told you to move it as soon as you parked up and got out… that lady informed you, that you would get a ticket… At this point it’s clear, your started to become confrontational at which point the police were called. You should have just got in your car parked up legally and been on your merry way…. And yet instead you continued to argue, be frustrated, be confrontational and in reality you could have just accepted it but then fight it at court as a lot of these where they’re parked outside their own hour get dismissed. Finally I’d just like to say this… clearly where ever you live, there is an absolute reason behind why their is certain parking restrictions. Again, you could have just parked elsewhere. They both warned you’d get a ticket. And they did exactly that. ----------------- I understand I’ll get a lot of crap for this comment… but I’ll say it one last time. If you worked in a Bank, and a person comes in only able to with draw £10 that’s in his account but he says please I get paid tomorrow. Please sir give me that £100 I don’t have an overdraft my kids need to eat today… what would happen if the bank teller said here you go sir just remember to give us that £100 tomorrow please. Not a chance! So as I’ve proven a job is a job. Generally it’s only your ego that gets in your way. Have a lovely day people. Also remember… just like you have to make a living… so do other people.
If he’s at his own house then why not use his driveway? If no driveway then he must qualify for a permit! The rules of the road are clearly displayed and if broken then a ticket is due!
I had a similar incident in a car park. The guy had already written the ticket but when I explained myself he said he would cancel the ticket which he did. I left in a good mood and no harm done. Unfortunately they’re not all like my guy.
About 20 years ago my workmate's wife had the exactly same argument with a female traffic warden, as the warden went to put the ticket on the car the wife said "do not put that on the car, put in my hand." The warden tried again and the wife said "I will accept the ticket if you put it in my hand, if you touch my car I will hit you" the warden grinning smugly slapped the ticket on the widescreen deliberately making sure all of the sticky glue made contact so it would be a pain to get off. WHACK! The wife punched the warden square in her face and broke her nose. When in court the judge asked the wife why she hit the warden. The wife described what happen belligerently adding I told her "Do not touch my car or I will hit you"... she carried on anyway so I hit her" The judge smiled and said "fair enough, I am letting you off with a warning... case dismissed" I think the judge must have been a ticket victim as well LOL.
To be fair the guy has a job to do. The driver didn't help himself with the way he spoke to them. But agree stopping in an area like that isn't really being a problem for moving traffic
The parking restrictions will be be bcos of the driveways, no? Unless it is an area near a sports stadium, hospital, etc, that attracts all-day parkers?
Very harsh in my view. This matter could have been resolved peacefully and amicably, he said he was going to be in and out. Come on surely they could have allowed that.
@@unitedroad438 It was not even a busy road, no other vehicle passed, while this farce caused by the ticket Gestapo faffed about in their self importance.
I must be missing the point here. The bloke knows he is not allowed to park, be that 2 minutes or 2 hours, there are parking goons writing out tickets and instead of driving around the block or in the next street, he lets the parking goons write out a ticket whilst he films....... And he is calling the parking goons Pillocks... really!
He's standing his ground out of principal that the law in this instance didn't make common sense. The parking rule is there to serve a purpose, sure, think about the purpose of the law. The road is clearly empty, he's not blocking anyone. He promised to be a couple of minutes. The traffic warden should have been more human, more understanding, and go find some real offenders. He's wasting everyone's time and money. I can sympathise with the offender, he was standing his ground in a commonsense way. The government don't really care about these fringe offences anyway, it really is just revenue for them. The warden should have been more sympathetic
Lmao no parking no loading. ? Van parked waiting LMFAO. And blocking drives hahah take them to court they are giving you a ticket for the exact same thing they are ticketing u for.
I thought that there had to be road markings indicating no waiting, e.g. yellow lines as well as roadside signage and that one without the other is insufficient. It is the yellow lines that indicate there are restrictions or white boxes that show residents only parking or disabled. There appear to be no such indications on the roadside.
I remember one time a English, maths professor, also a lawyer was getting harassed by two enforcement officers because of an impediment to traffic. When the road was closed to the general public, and only opened to residents and visitors, because their was construction. They called us police for their stupid, idiotic business. So we came down and the professor was giving them a lecture on just about everything, (his expertise) and they were writing his fine as and when they finished they chatted to us we got bored and annoyed, and tried to find a traffic or vehicle infraction and we did, he was not a resident as they were only permitted for council workers assigned to the area (actual workers like construction) we also saw they parked their vehicle in front of a driveway, parked on kerb and many minor, infractions like impeding traffic, due to door being opened. We gave it and we ripped up the professors ticket up and left.
My missus got a ticket parking outside our house as we had trade's on the drive. Argued the toss with E£EBC and got it overturned. Dump a ton of hardcore outside the town hall! 😂
Public roads are maintained by the council they do not own them! This criminal behavior so learn your rights! "promises of fines and forfeitures before conviction are illegal and void" Bill of Rights..... Just because they changed the name from fine to penalty it is still the same use of extortion, we are all innocent until *proven guilty* . For this clown trying to extort monies from you is not only illegal but unlawful aswell. THIS IS YOUR REMEDY! Also they are in breach of data protection, they are not law enforcers so they have no authority with your details, gives you room for a counter-claim.
taking photos of a private property is illegal, even cctv operators have to be careful not to point the cameras at someone's bedroom window, there needs to be a warrant in order to do so
Actually no from a public place you can take photos of anything and everything, you are meant to create your own privacy, but what this guy is doing here is probably stepping outside the bounds of his job description and if that’s his personal phone that he is taking photos on whilst at work he could get in a ton of trouble because the data is being collected on a device that the council has no control over. Either way they are both pricks haha!
Drivers a self entitled clown. He was given the opportunity to drive off before he got a ticket. I live here and I pay tax, so what mate, millions of us pay tax but it’s not an outer to do as you want.
Two points I noticed. 1, there are no road markings, on a public highway the only markings that can be enforced are those with clear and constant road markings and or kerb markings. 2, their vehicle is creating a greater breach of the highways act be obstructing the footpath . In addition to creating the same obstruction and offending in the same manner as they allege your offence.
As far as I'm aware No Loading/Parking signs must be accompanied by road markings to how the area they cover and to be valid... I see NO MARKINGS ON THE ROAD and would therefore challenge the ticket in court!
It's a temporary "Parking Suspended" sign, normally used if there are roadworks booked for that road to ensure it is clear for the workers to do their work.
Thats a breach of data protection failing to give" their " details and recording your home ... Their duty ends at your car reg . The guide lines issued by those who regulate parking wardens suggests a reasonable time should be given to those who park in a restricted area , ..... I was interested to read an article that a traffic warden was attacked but no one interviened .. The traffic warden had by all accounts had bragged he would book any one the letter of the law
No. There is 10-minute rule that doesn't apply to yellow lines, but does apply to short stay free parking, such as ‘park up to two hours, no return in two’. You won't have a ticket as evidence though.
On reflection a similar thing happened to me a long time ago when we had traffic wardens , ( no it wasn't a horse and cart) I had pulled up outside the video rental to hire a movie ( yes video tape ), it was ten to six and parking restrictions finished at six, this was a busy road but not a main road, I was warned they were having trouble with a warden and as he finished saying it the warden opened the door and asked who's car it was, I said it was mine and he said it was illegally parked , I said yeah for about seven minutes, he said well you will get a ticket, I said what if I move it ? He said it doesn't matter you will still get a ticket, I said we'll just give me a ticket then. There were a few in the shop and all eyes fixed on him, he said I'll let it go this time but don't park there illegally again please. I said thank you. You could have heard a pin drop, that's how shocked they all were that I got off with it. I pointed out that his shift ends at six and he goes straight home at night, issuing me a ticket would take time and he may miss his bus home and have to wait half an hour.
Nothing like escalating a situation. The moment they arrived, you should have moved your car. Can't ticket you for breaking the law if they can't evidence it. Seems like you wanted the drama.
noitce he is blocking a drive way with his van . (unnecessary obstruction, or wilful obstruction), but it's not if you're blocked getting onto it. Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, reg 103 and s42, Road Traffic Act 1988 and s137 Highways Act 1980.
He may have been obstinate and overly-jobsworth in his approach, but he has as much right to photograph anything visible from a public place as you do - there are no laws against photography in public places in the UK, and anything in or visible from a public place can be photographed lawfully without any permission being required - the same right that allowed you to photograph him. .
Don't understand civil enforcement officer thought it was necessary to take photographs inside a man's property and family home Valley point what the gentleman said filmid he could be a nonce to be honest with you you should not work for any council or in public if he thinks it necessary to take photographs of people's homes I'm sure if we were taking photographs of people's homes we be on the sex offenders register are the council and police officers think they're above the law and fit the can violate section 27 about human rights
Disgusting behaviour. The only solution, a punch to the face. Had one of these idiots come up to me before, accusing me of feeding a bit of my greggs sussage roll to a seagull. Needles to say I didn’t had over my details.
Yes, you're right, the government need give us the right to bear arms so we can break the rules they put in place and stop the people who are hired to enforce those rules from enforcing their rules. You really just need to learn to not park somewhere where it is illegal to park and when they tell you that you aren't allowed, just fucking move.
Euan Morgan Civil/public servants or anyone whom works for or alongside the government, Her Majesty, Ministry Of Defence, Home Office (etc) do NOT have to show them a form of identification when asked by a member of the public, therefore they can refuse. There's no law in which states they must show identification when asked by the public.
Although it does say no parking in its entirety due to street cleaning AND you live on that road, the parking hitler could have used common sense to allow you 10-15 min to get what you needed from your house. Sadly these bellends are unable to use discretion to allow people to go about their daily lives. You should have said you were 9 months pregnant and about to go into labour.
The first thing he says is you're telling me I can't park here, yeah that's exactly what he's saying - Some places and times you can't park, simple. He even accepts he is aware of the restrictions. Admittedly he could have been much more professional and it seems like the traffic regulation orders could be relaxed if it is so quiet. This shouldn't have been a fine, but the guy should have moved his vehicle and complained to his local council about the rules. Given the verbal abuse I can't say I blame the guy for issuing the fine though. The stupid rules are not created by the traffic wardens. Complain to your local council people !
Doesn’t matter. Legally if you ain’t allowed to park there then sorry it’s your fault. Doesn’t matter if your engine is running you’ve left your car unattended which is ILLEGAL. So he’s in the wrong. Not them. Even if he was sat there with it running it is still ILLEGAL. Thinks he knows all clearly doesn’t. The van isn’t blocking the driveway either.
The way I see it these sorts of people would never , could never land a real job in the real world. So they have become long term unemployed and un-employable. So the powers that be create these non jobs for them and they can generate a nice pile of cash for the councils.
@@SuperRockyfour If you watch the video you will find that i am making perfect sense. Unless you are also in a council non-job. You probably are lol Come on james , fess up .
John Jones Your metaphors amaze me 😆😆😆. Non has an E at the end so it’s None - council!! I am self employed thanks things are going really well considering!! I have watched the video and can confidently tell you for the second time that you don’t make any sense 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
@@SuperRockyfour No metaphors were used in any of my posts above. I think you need to look up the meaning of the word metaphor. One hears about non-essential travel these days. I have just bought a cutting tool with non-replaceable brushes. I would definitely call your replies non-sequiturs . The word 'none' in any of these sentences is more than simply ungrammatical. It would not be English. Chavster maybe , but not English. ~Now if you had sat up straight and paid the maximum amount of attention your very limited attention span would allow for throughout the video you would have noticed a few things. The first thing you would have noticed is the fact that the blobs in question have IQ's below 75. Which puts them in the unemployable bracket. No company could afford to employ them. Did you hear any intelligent response to the gentlemen's questions or statements ? These people are simply unemployable . So they are given non-jobs such as those that they are seen doing in the video you have just watched. They don't perform any useful function for the council tax payers. What do they achieve which is of benefit to the tax payers ( ie their employers ) ?. What value did they bring to the tax payer in return for their wages. Nothing. In fact it's worse. They take away from society. There is absolutely no need for them. I don't need them and neither does anyone else. They contribute nothing to society and are in fact a net drain on society and the economy. If you can't see that then in fact you are as thick as them. Toodle pip james .
