As someone who has has several liner locks painfully disengage during use, I appreciate the lock bar teeth, which help keep it from disengaging.

I have this. 100% agree about the lock bar and the meat grinder. Beautiful opening. I like big knives. Looking forward to them fixing it.

They've been broadening their designs. Really liked the Maxwell fixed blade and the Snecx Vision... have fun!

I agree this is a nice step outside or Civivi’s wheel house and it looks like they did a really good job overall. The lock bar situation is something that shouldn’t happen with a company that makes as many knives as they do and it is a pretty big deal since most people use their knives bare handed. Either way it’s nice to see these companies that churn out release after release doing something different and cool; hopefully they keep pushing the envelope!

Interesting knife. Not for me, but I too am glad to see Civivi branching out into bigger knives. Surprised by MC still recommending it with the cheese grader lock bar, though.

I bought one after your video. I’ve developed a hankering for bigger blades and kukri blades and the Espada are just ugly as shit. After carrying it it’s so thin that you don’t notice it. Really a cool looking impractical knife.

I bought the black bladed one with green and I really like it. The liner with the shark teeth definitely sucks. I've been using thumb studs mostly to open it.

I just got this knife yesterday in green burlap micarta, i love the knife i got because i like the look, i usually carry between 2.75" - 3.5", but i could not pass this one up, it is very cool looking with black blade, feels sturdy and tough, this is not a knife i would carry everywhere, but as soon as i saw i had to have it, i agree with the liner lock, my thumb is beat up, because when i first get a knife i carry for a week and fidget with allot and those teeth get to you LMAO But it is very unique and with any knife that i get that has a liner i spine wacked the S out of it LOL and held up perfectly, i do that so i know i can trust the knife, i am going to get a lot of use out of this one, this blade cuts through everything with its size and heft.

Can you please stop lauding that "We/Civivi/Sencut doesn't break from the folding steak knife" rhetoric. It's out of touch because multiple times this year they have broke the mold while brands like Spyderco, Hinderer, Stryder and Demko make they same knives over and over again with only a change in scales and blade steel while people go bananas for them; and crying about the clip that they have modified several times because I own multiple knives from the brands and noticed the changes. None of this is to say I don't like your channel. I think the knives that you unbox and review are typically fascinating because people send you things from brands I haven't seen or experienced before. I just noticed that there is this never ending narrative that I don't hear about other brands who make literally the same blade shape and handle/scales.

That's a good user for people who actually work with their knives on the farm, diesel trucks, tree work, 🪵 🪓. Not digging the blade grind, shoulda made full flat, but a good f you to twine blade and bark blade. I love how knife companies think we don't deserve SW/Blasted/satin in non black g10 options on every budget knife. I haven't bought a black blade thats not a Cold Steel Carbon Blades Machete since I was getting ripped off at Walmart for Gerbers in the twenty-teens. At least it's not dainty, I thought it was a straight clip or from the thumbnail, the reality in it being tanto crushed me, but not being a snob to useful shapes I'll take it if someone gave me one. Good video, haven't commented in a minute, life's right tough lately with the parents fading to black... Thought you'd cheer me up before I fell this tree, you did
