Mad how they just have such a distinctive sound. They’re not the best band in the world ever, but they have a sound nobody else does. Nobody sounds like them.
I can't breathe I can't get this out Don't know and I can't explain But still I feel that I will I'll be the only one now Can't seem to penetrate You can talk about the only way out I know it's gonna get me again Why do you have to tell me The things you tell me Power can instigate But I suppose that you'll expose and you'll open up wide Can't seem to penetrate Still talking about the only way out I know it's gonna get me again I hope the demon doesn't dwell inside you I know it's gonna get me again [Chorus] No don't drop me now I'll sink into the underground (Lead those sheep to the slaughter) So alone don't drop me now I'll sink into the underground (Can I keep my head above the water?) Yeah Still talking about the only way out I know it's gonna get me again I hope the demon doesn't dwell inside you I know it's gonna get me again [Chorus] No don't drop me now I'll sink into the underground (Lead those sheep to the slaughter) So alone don't drop me now I'll sink into the underground (Can I keep my head above the water?) Yeah
Man, anyone who has been through a serious drug addiction where all they care about is their next fix this song really speaks too. When you feel like the drugs are the one thing that won’t reject you or judge you and only Make you feel better about yourself. Anyone dealing with it, I pray you find solace in your life and understand that drugs only lead to suffering.
20 years later this hits even harder now, seeing what is going on in Philly and nationwide. Hoping affected people can find the strength. It's a demon for sure. Long live CKY
Damn, thought this video was letterboxed unnecessarily, but then there was at least one fullscreen 4:3 shot of Deron's face to justify 95& of the video surrounded by black 🤘 Stay true
CKY was one of those bands that had it together musically, but their lyrics and vocals undid everything they did with their instruments. I always liked their riffs and drums.
As time passes and years fly by at an ever quickening pace this song and others by this band get better and better especially when compared to the ever widening gap of quality between this shit and the shit thats pushed as music now..Newer shit gets weaker every year making this so much tougher in contrast
Jess was more talented than Bam, why did these guys fade and the Jackasses rose to stardom? My mind cant make any sense of this ish brah! CKY is still the bomb today! Reppin that CKY 2023 ya herd!
