I am a mst survivor, recently just had my 2nd c and p....cried uncontrollably again.....the examiner seemed nice, i had 2 buddy letters. As well as a ton of va outpatient with almost 10 different meds, hope i can get compensated and help. Not sure how many times i can go thru another exam
I've been known about this. I have about $75,000 in student loan debt. All federal. I'm just waiting on my C-File so me and my doctor can view it and write bulletproof nexus letters for my next batch of claims which I'm sure will get me to 100%. The only problem is I submitted for the C-File in mid August of 2023. The VA claims tracker tool is stating that I won't receive it until June of this year. To those of you who are 100% consider yourselves lucky. To those of you who are not, be patient and keep your heads up. Your day will come.
Can a veteran using it more than once? If a vet used it and 3/4/5 years down the road, he/she borrows again, can they apply to have it discharged again? Or is it one time?
Hey Jordan, thanks for all your info. Question, I filed my firsr VA disability claim ever last March 2023 (11 items) at the age of 55. Last week I had a deposit into my checking account that was rather disappointing from the VA. So, I went to my VA website and checked my claim status and it's still in the information gathering status. Does the VA typically award single claims then a lump sum claim later?
Not answering for jordan, but when upon the date of filing an intent to claim disability until the decision is made. you get retroactive paid for the months you waited on the day they made the decision. Sometimes, VA website maybe a little slower to update. Only way to be certain is you get the letter and the deposit is from US treasury for VA compensation
Question sir. I’m a veteran that has never applied in an my way with the VA. I have all the required paperwork like DD214 and so on. I don’t know anything about the VA. Can you recommend a website that can educate a total noob like me that knows nothing? It’s ok to talk to me like I’m 6 years old 😂😂😂
I’d watch Combat Craig, KMD89 and others who you resonate and immerse yourself into this VA disability stuff. Very shortly after truly immersing yourself, it will all click. Then there’s no turning back, you’ll be so excited instead of the usual feelings of dread most people get
I Am Ending A 40 Year Run In The Army, Medically Retired, Then Returned To Duty.. REALLY Medically Retiring This Time, 100% P&T... Question: I Am Going Back To School, What About New Student Loans? Thank You For Your Time, YOUR MOST VALUABLE ASSET...
Gotta be student debt? Damn, once again I screwed up by playing my cards "correctly". Every vet SHOULD get $100k forgiveness for mortgage regardless of disability level.
Does TPDD discharge ROTC debt probably from dfas? I did ROTC as scholarship cadet and was prior enlisted but couldn't finish ROTC and ROTC is charging me a bill to pay back as a dfas education debt. Now I am 100% p&t so can I get that debt discharged?
I believe I would get 100 P&T but what are your thoughts? I have idiopathic hypersomnia which va classifies it under narcolepsy with comorbidity of mixed sleep apnea that puts me on an ASV vs a CPAP and didn’t help with fatigue, and excessive day time sleepiness but advised to stay on it for cardiovascular benefits and with being on xywav(date rape drug) and adderall.
I love your site, but I can't get it to open. I paid for the GM COURSE, but I can't get in at all. I had an ACe exam and a C and P and would have loved to have access to the site over the weekend.... I searched and couldn't get anything to even send an email. Getting pretty upset....
Great Video Jordan, but I have one question. the navy has given me a claim for depression that was caused before my military service. This makes me afraid that I cannot get VA Disability for a mental health claim since the navy believes it is not their problem. Can I still file a mental health claim in my active duty service that the navy has made it worse? How high of a percentage can I get with a pre-existing mental health claim before the military?
I just got my 90% rating but also P and T individual unemployability. Didn't know that was a thing, does the 90% exclude me or is it the P and T that counts? Thanks for the videos and free templates. Life changer.
@@vaclaimsacademy Hello Jordan, nice to hear back from you. It’s a daily fight with my health and finances like every one else. I hope you are doing good and your family. Keep fighting the system. Your a good man. And Thanks
What if you are already at 100% p&t but happened to go back to school and take out student loans. Will that federal student loan be forgiven? Or does the debt have to be accrued prior to the 100%? My second question is, from what I understand if my kids take out college student loans but it is my name on the repayment of those student loans they can all be forgiven as well? Is this accurate?
The program is a one time discharge of federal student loans. At the time you request discharge, any federal student loan debt will be forgiven for 100% P&T Veterans.
Someone always trying to abuse the system…if you’re P&T why would you get student loans…your family and you all can go to college free…I’m just curious…this is why the VA plays hard ball.

I am 100% disabled for many years now I'm barely hanging on and if you don't have any debt that you've been responsible and taking care of all your debt where is the 100,000 go that you could claim or is it for only that somebody is irresponsible and racked up a whole bunch of debt and then you somehow miraculously are going to give them $100,000 to take care of their debt that sounds kind of like a scam and it sounds like a Spam call so I don't know how honest you are but it doesn't sound real to me
It’s for student debt and for those 100% disabled. Thank the generation that voted towards policies that balloon college costs while their generation could work at an ice cream stand over the summer and pay for the following years costs.
