Jor El said clark would have to make big sacrifices for the greater good. This is one of the big sacrifices Clark had to make for the world. Anyone agree?
based on the original movies, lois never truely loved clark, she loved superman. she was shallow and pretentious and only liked the strong, hot hero; not the nerd at the daily planet. lana liked clark for who he really was, the geeky, equipment manager. she loved him long before she learned his secret.
Lana was Clark's teenage love..in the comics they remained friends and she became a superhero also just like she did in Smallville..so based on this this seems accurate..
they should bring Lana back and find a way of taking the green k out of her so that they can be together because smallville won't be the same without Clana!! CLANA FOREVER!!!!!!!
I have never hated Lex more than I hate him now. I REALLY wish he would die but I know he won't aggghh! I am so depressed about Clana - even though I knew this was coming I still wasn't ready for this. I don't think I'll ever like Clois especially because I know that they still love each other. WHY CAN'T THEY JUST BE TOGETHER DAMMIT!!!
I hate this...! I hate them for making my Beloved CLANA separated... Clark will ALWAYS LOVE Lana even if they can't be together... and cloissers...the woman you hate...has GIVEN so MUCH to Clark and to the rest of the WORLD without thinking of herself... @Suuuuumaaa I know that's it old, but I had to answer... you are definitely right, it's true, Lana loved Clark, Lois loved "better me" of Clark's personality and I agree with something else too: Smallville ended after this episode, then it was Superman Smallville was always about Clark and Lana ;-)
@margaritasalt1 exactly,,, even lois in SV said in season 9 that she WISHES that Clark is the blur, because no matter how she felt for Clark, she favored the blur and she wanted to have them BOTH,,,, she is NEVER satisfied with Clark alone!
Also if you’re going to accuse Lois for only loving The Blur then that goes both ways. Lana only loved Clark for his powers. So much so that she was going to leave Lex at the altar.

when lana was absorbing the kryptonite, and she flew up and thrusted her head back, it reminded me of that episode spell when lana was trying to absorb clark's powers. anyways, this episode was great. i was really glad with it.

o0o0o0o yea! HA I have all 2 lmao of the Dark Angel seasons and totally didnt think to connect Logan and Max to Clark and Lana...that whole "not touching" dealio is what KILLED the Dark Angel show, ridiculous plot..same here lmao...not being able to touch=not at all cool! LOVE CLANA FOREVER!!!

so?. . .the movies were based in the comics. . .and based on the comics clark never had anything with lana except friendship and an unrequiered love from lana's side. plus lois never loved clark because he seemed a coward etc etc. . in the comics when superman lost his memories and clark became more dynamic lois fell in love with clark. . . so in fact lois does love the real clark she just doesn't know it. plus the movies were more based at superman and not clark kent. . .
the idea of clark being near lana could kill him reminds me so much of dark angel season 2 when max had the disease in her and logan could'nt touch her.
@tomarisun honey the only reason they marry in the comics is to save the comics and guess what, they didnt pull it from its loss and hey maybe you should be a bit honest in your post and tell how clark and lois now are suffering a rough marriage in the comics!

For me, I wanted Clark to be more hesitant, I mean he knows what he is giving up - but def sad, and reminds me of the Buffy episode,except both will remember......
@smallville1864 actually the Terri Hatcher lois's feel in love with Clark before the one in SV,,, and that idea was repeated in SVa only because the lois in the adventures of Lois and Clark was sweet because they took herf traits from the Comics Lana Lang! did you know that? so IN BOTH cases of lois, they found it better make her sweet as Lana to find a reason for Clark to love her! even lois in sv was obnixous and bratty until Lana went and they lanafied her!
Kristin Kruek was leaving the show, genius! That’s why they wrote her off and Clark and Lana don’t end up together. It had nothing to do with Lois nor them wanting to be together. If you actually did your research you’d know that.

Lana já.não era.digna de ficar com Clark ,ainda bem que ele teve sorte que Lois o ainda aceitou,Lois era superior em TD. e digo ao contrário esses roteiristas tinha uma queda pela Kristin tão grande que ferrou com a personagem de Lois ,Lois foi tratada como uma qualquer,e ela nunca foi ela era a mulher super,e o grande amor e vdd de calrk aos pra agradar fãs de clãs tóxicos fez esse jogo com o show pra dividir opinião e iludir iludidos que gosta de relacionamento falido tóxico.,Lois era pra ser cotada como a personagem principal desde 4 temporada e Lana ter vazado ,essa personagem foi um pé no saco não tinha nada de bom pra acrescentar ,tirando TDS os.homens querendo ela e TDS as mulheres com inveja dela,TD ali foi direcionado pra que Lana fosse a rainha e dona do show mais não colou ,os fãs de Superman e da história de anos não aceitaria eles fazer uma personagem tão de carácter duvidoso e mesquinha ficar ainda com super herói então superam e sejam felizes com os momentos do casal tóxico que durou 8 longas cansadas temporadas
