Kristin Kreuk/Lana Lang was always a first love for me. Going back from my childhood to my teen years. Loved her most in the early years, started to dislike aspects of her around these times of season 6. But, came to love her even more, as she gradually came back to who she was early on, seeing the light and becoming stronger.😀❤🙏
Lana is season 6 was just so errrrrr. I remember that episode where Lex was lost somehow in frequency and she expressed or confessed how deeply inlove she was to Lex. Then the next episode she was doubting agaun bec of Clark. Girl.
“Lex doesn’t lie to me”. Well, actually you don’t care about him as much as about Clark. That’s it’s not so important for you to know everything about Lex. Now you just show off in front of Clark to hide your true feelings and make an impression of cold and impregnable lady. Because he (Clark) broke up with you, leaving heartbroken and angry with him. Regarding telling about his secret, at the beginning of “Hypnotic”, she said that she would wait him, not push. And at the end he broke it off with her. I think the following episodes she wanted to know about the truth to make his life easier because she knew that it was very hard for him to live always hiding something really “scary”. It was similar to Alicia’s actions who took her word back not to reveal the truth about Clark. She just wanted Chloe to write an objective article about freaks to make their lives easier. Regarding such situations as on this video, Clark didn’t have any proof about Lex’s crimes. He could only suspect, not know for sure. Also how Lana should have understand his actions if at first he warns her about Lex, then wishes her to be happy with him? Moreover, even Chloe went on dealing with The Luthors no matter what. And if you look at Martha and Lionel, you could think that they were a family couple. In later episodes Tess also didn’t believe that Lex was an evil person despite everyone were warning her. That was because Lex had saved her. However in “Bulletproof” when Lana *showed her PROOF* that Lex was using her for his own purposes, Tess finally believed it. So why Clark didn’t do the same? Why he didn’t show her PROOF? It was not a problem with his abilities. So his warnings were similar to jealousy and quickly conclusions. Notice, after learning about Lex’s true nature, Lana never blamed anyone because no one gave her proof.
I mostly agree here. However, Lana was jilted and if you watch closely she takes puck shots at him . I also quite sure at this point Clark could easily prove Lexes crimes. Lana chose to ignore what she knew and I believe Clark new even with pictures and crayons he would not convince her. There’s a lot more but you already covered it. Either here or other places.
@@josephpoitras3090 I disagree. Lana ignored his warnings because she just ‘blocked’ her feelings to him (earlier his words _’I don’t love you’_ nearly killed her). However Clark could just give her the pictures anonymous. She would definitely believe. We can see it in several episodes when she was interrogating Lex about Level 33.1, pretending she didn’t feel sorry for freaks.
@@josephpoitras3090 also regarding Lana’s impatience to Clark’s secret. At first she really acted like a child being too curious. However Whitney’s death made her a bit more mature. She didn’t ask Clark anymore to tell her his secret. Until season 3 when he left her. After that Lana started asking him again to tell her his secret. Remember the ending of season 9? When there was a threat to Clois relationship, Lois insisted Clark to tell her his secret too. On season 10, Lois already knew everything. Of course, in such situation it’s easier to wait until Clark would be ready to tell his secret.
Again I mostly agree except, Clark made a lot of painful decisions to protect those around him especially Lana. While you could be right about the anonymous information. I believe Clark at this point was trying to do damage control. As here he rightfully pointed out her being a lackey for Lex then tried to divert or deflect his statement. Lana called him on it and Clark backed off. Either way I hated the whole Lex and Lana thing. Anyway, the writers screwed us.
Both Clark Lana are annoying. And it's clear they were never a great fit. Clark chased her away, yes he was trying to protect her, but he didn't have to break her heart the way he did. And then finding out she with his ex friend it shows concern after telling her he didn't love her I would be short with him too, BUT It's the fact that there were clear signs Lex couldn't be trusted and she ignored it and shocked that he screwed her over. Not making Excuses for him I hated him after season 5, but he never made Lana blackmail and lie to get her way she choose to do it so this he took advantage of her not at first it was just when he realized he would never live up to Clark and knew if he kept calling Lana out about it he's loose her.
And what about how clark treated lana? Is not like if he is the main character everything is ok he cant make mistakes. He treated lana way more badly than she did. I honeslty despise clark,he is an animal,thats the only term that comes in my mind to describe clark.
No, u deluded dumbasss. Clark problems had consequences for lana. Lana is the result of clark and lex treatment. Did i say lana is innocent? She is not a saint, she will do bad stuff. But she is not evil and sure thing she is not the bad character people make her out to be. I treat lana the way she deserve to be treated, because unlike u, i do understand the character. Do u actually understand lana's reaction in this situation? Lana with clark has a huge inferiority complex. He gave her that. Especially after season 5. She waited for him years, she endured all the pain and the frustration of his behaviour cause deep down she knew he loved her. In season 5 clark was being kinda of an abusive partner with lana, he was constantly and ON PURPOSE hurting her feelings. Yet she was willing to wait as long as clark needed. But when he break up, she felt completely rejected as a person. She felt completely not worthy to him. Clark make lana feel an untrustworthy little piece of shit. She felt like that kind of partner too blinded from love to realize that clark's strange behaviours had one simple meaning, he wasnt in love with her. She felt stupid, and like ANYBODY else would do, she resents him. Cause he never confided anything with her. He always lied, he rejected her when she tried to have sex. He frustrated her. He was even somehow cold after the events of Reckoning. When he break up saying he doesnt love her anymore, she figure he never really loved her. She always thought for clark was complicated to open up. Now she "understand" its simply cause he doesnt have consideration of her, he doesnt have faith in her. She thinks clark sees her as a game to play with until he gets bored and then he dump her. She thinks clark gets advantage of her strong feelings for him to have fun, but then as a person doesnt see anything in her. And thats why he never trusted her with anything. How could she know he is protecting her? Can u show a little sympathy for lana and try to understand what clark did to her before attacking?
Im pretty sure i read a comment of urs saying she has been deceived by lex. So what, u changed ur mind? Now she willingly decided to stay with lex knowing he is a villain? She has been manipulated, she has been deceived, tricked into making those bad choices. Are u seriously not able to understand this? Maybe ur are more stupid that i thought u were.
