Clarressa Shields is so intelligent. She basically created Rocky 4. Wore the Apollo Creed shorts. Beat Savannah in Rocky style fashion. Even did the "If I can Change" speech. And made the arena turn towards her. Had her opponent lifting her arm. She is a genius. What a fight.
With all her talkin shes like the Ali of female boxing...Savannah seemed rattled from 'the gloves are off'. Confidence was Clarissas... and the win..well done.
Personality? She's literally a openly racist person, never even was hiding and just in general horrible toxic human being. I'm happy for her deserved win, fight was great, good step up for woman boxing, but let's not glorify Claressa. She's most hated person in boxing for a reason

Par for the course in the UK, unfortunately. There's a lot of hate for the US; a lot of love, to be sure, but also a lot of hate. That hate can manifest on nights like this one. Particularly, I think, symbolic things like the US Anthem are easy targets for disrespect. America is just one of those countries that many Britons find easy to bash. It's a little sad and it's not universal. On the other hand, I also think Marshall is a point of national pride, especially for British working-class fans. Working people don't mind getting a bit rude when it comes to supporting their side; they will resort to all kinds of rude insults when cheering the home-team, and it's probably best not to take it to heart. Guarantee if you were in the crowd that night, you would have heard a few 'creative' pejoratives thrown in Shields' direction... you can't take that sort of thing too seriously.

Not really. Marshall showed Shields huge respect. Shields however failed to show much if any respect for Marshall. Marshall lost but is the better person.
Claressa‘s hand Speed was too good, she hits harder than I thought and she wasn’t scared of Savannah’s power which shows she can back her brash talk out of the ring with braveness in it! Respect where it’s due, she was the better fighter and she just wanted it more tonight I think!
@@QstormtheGod I said harder than I thought.... I thought her power wouldn’t be enough to keep Savannah off but she caught her and stung her pretty much at the start of the fight and every time she did catch Savannah the shots had enough in them to push her back a bit.

Great fight from Marshall great humility bc she did not win but still had a great fight still beleive in her too and shell be bck in the next one for the win, just stock with it like she has, and shell be back with a win.

Yeah, I was really surprised at Savana's motor because she came all night. There was a time when I thought that Claressa gassing out even though she was getting the best of Savana during those exchanges. Great fight.

Two gladiators fighting there hearts out.... they both did the boxing world proud.... Shields just had a bit more class and aggression in the first 4 rounds..but after that it was definitely 50/50...... boxing was the ultimate winner tonight though.... Savannah will come back stronger,wiser, and more confident 🥊🇬🇧
What a great fight. Absolutely lived up to all the hype. Shields really surprised me how good she was on the inside. It shows you that the shorter punches win every time on the inside. Savannah’s style was the gift & the curse. She was so used to breaking down her opponents that she failed to use her reach to its full potential in this fight.
@Keion Chase fr fr idk why Ole girl wasn't tryin to snipe from long distance and box. That was he strength. I guess she thought she could get her out of there rushing in. Her corner was bad at making adjustments foreal. They thought they had it but when I looked in her trainers face after first round he knew his girl wasn't gonna win.
Savannah could have won it if she lengthened her shots, fought more on the outside aswel as the inside. she’s got way more reach and was fighting on the inside the whole fight . The first couple rounds she was only half extending shots trying to find distance and it looked terrible from a viewers standpoint
