To all the people who worked and were involved with Smallville, thank you so much for this series and doing this episode too. This episode made me realize to talk to my Dad about things that I wanted to talk about before he passed. There was one or two things I didn't ask my Dad, nothing major, but that's okay. The last thing we both said to each other was that we both loved each other. Rest in peace Mom and Dad, we love you so much.

You can really see that Tom Welling was starting to come into his own when Clark told his dad he only went fishing because it made Jonathan happy.

This show was so real. Like I have that problem too. Something that your dad thinks you love to do, and loves to do with you, but you aren't into anymore. but you don't want him to feel bad so you do it anyway. Personally I just do it. I don't tell him. I like doing whatever I'm into, but I love seeing my dad happy a lot more. It's a sacrifice I'm happy to make for him. Point is, they make superman so human by giving him these basic problems. This show was brilliant.
