Making a show surrounding Clark Kent as a teen really makes you feel like he's not some god-like figure, (AKA the Snyder-verse) he's actually a pretty chill dude with a sense of humor, normal goals after high school, and has opinions of pop culture & music because he grew up in Kansas. With Earth being his first home, Krypton is more of a place where he originated from. That's why Superman is as human as it gets 👌🏼

That's exactly what Man of Steel did, show people that Ckark wasn't some all powerful god, he struggled with finding his place like everyone else, not having all the answers but still trying to do what was right. People clearly missed that or just didn't care for the movie beyond bashing it for nostalgia sake.

@@wrestlinganime4life288 DCEU Superman has a lot of personality, it's just not the personality nostalgia obsessed fans want, it's more than "red underwear, hands on hip and cliché speech about Hope" There's nothing wrong with hope per se, it's people's obsession with relegating the character to nothing more than cliché tropes and red underwear that I find vexing.

I would hazard a guess that Clark is flinching to minimise impact. Thats a move often used by Spider-Man so that 'regular people dont break their hands hitting his superhuman musculature' or some such.

I've only watched Smallville for a short time, and currently, reached season 8. However, the fondness and nostalgia I feel for season 1, lead me to believe I liked the show in the earlier seasons, when it was new. Rather in the later seasons, when I became adjusted to it.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the pocket knife "You can see through my hand" scene! It's one of my top favorites and Tom N John they absolutely act that scene out perfectly. Whomever thought of them doing that scene i give you five stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Lol talk about a son who knows his father really well. PS i send out one last... AWESOME on what i think of this movie series.
