I believe Jonathan and Jordon both can have powers it's just being half human is slowing down the kryptonian cells to absorb more sunlight. Clark and Kara are full kryptonians so they get more sunlight but being part human would sort of interfere with that like with Connor.

I wonder if Jordan's powers are tied with his brother in some way. Both times his powers manifested, his brother was in close proximity and there was a threat to Jonathan as well.

I love how he’s so formal with his father

In the comics, Batman tells Superman that Jonathan's mixed genealogy makes him a force that would potentially make him more powerful than Superman when he grows up.

Jordon might not be as strong as his father, but Jordon even having just under 1/100 of Clark's strength would still be huge. Hell, any of Clark's abilities at 1/100 would be tremendous. If your comparing Jordon to Clark, Jordon's powers might look insignificant in comparison but all heroes abilities kinda do with a few exceptions. If we assume this Superman can lift only 150 tons (I'm positive he isn't that weak though), Jordon could still lift 1.5 tons, which is the equivalent of your average-sized car. Bullets might hurt him, but that doesn't mean he isn't bulletproof for your average firearm. The reason Jordon's cells might not have much solar radiation now is that his cells don't absorb sunlight as quickly as Superman so he can't recharge quickly, and heat vision is a huge drain on Kryptonian powers more so than other abilities. Jordon probably overdid it with that small burst and his cells are still charging up.

Jonathan Will have Powers

Remember when Clark was a kid, his powers won't at full strength until he got older, it's the same with these boys, they both will have Clark's powers, they'll be even stronger than their father. Both boys need to be exposed to the yellow sun even more, now that they are out of the city. As time progresses their power will come out.

you know Jor-el is right, jerkish as it sounds Jordan will never be Kal-el because as half human he needs to be come someone other then super-man or super-boy, he needs to physically train himself to even get to 100th of what his father's full strength is, that's actually kind of refreshing, we don't need another super-man copy flying around, he needs to understand that he is his own person and discover how he can grow further.

Clark's father hologram is bullshit, Jordan is already show his first power heat vision. but I think himself is the only reason put down his powers from too much anger and frustration. I think Jordan is really needs to anger management classes, his emotions are unstable, sadly. I honestly feel bad for him.

Maybe jordan has to use those power patches that lex gave to superboy in the cartoon to unlock his full kryptonian power.

I bet Jonathan will have the real power and Jordan will just be jealous and angry, making him an evil Superboy or smth

Here’s where I’m confused, they’re half humans, so wouldn’t he have most of Superman’s powers? If they were a quarter kryptoians, it would make more sense

It seems Kryptonian genes aren't really dominant.

I'm pretty sure the machine Morgan Edge has will be used at some point on Jordan and give him his full kryptonian powers

Do any of you think maybe the reason Jordan powers are so much weaker because the human X chromosome could be more dominants then the krytonian Y chromosome. I mean who knows if Clark had a daughter she probably would have been much stronger. I bet that would have pissed Jordan off if he had a little sister who was stronger then him. It's just a theory. I guess this Theory could be settled if Kara has a kid with a human or maybe human DNA is just more dominant then Kryptoian DNA.
