Bridge over the river Kok episode I reckon was one of the best specials they made it had everything in it even though they were in clapped out death traps every minute was brilliant.
Burma was the best by far. To this day I want to go to the Shan state in Burma and road trip to Hoi An Vietnam. Maybe in a western star or a Leyland Freighter
Clarksons prediction about what classic to buy as an investment looks to be spot on with the Impreza, considering how madly 90s JDM has exploded in the last 5 years.
@@3a.m.284 true but I think the main difference is that Subaru continued production of the Impreza and WRX while a lot of the desired JDM cars were discontinued after one or two generations
@@BayAreaRushHour yeah exactly the Impreza had been sold consistently and still is being sold meanwhile the evo, integra, eclipse ect had their production stopped
Fun Fact The quad stuff at. 1:20 is very early new Top Gear it stems from some realising that when the three of them worked together on Camera during the £100 Cheap Car Challenge, they had chemistry.
9:37 - I know the where the clip is from but I love that, out of context, they are apparently just completely ignoring Clarkson being covered in blood 😊
In much the same spirit one of may favourite authors (P.J. O'Rourke) once wrote of a Ferrari "Acceleration was sufficient to leave earth orbit, and the brakes could stop time". Brilliant!
16:10 - Can't help noticing that the bobby picked to deal with the protest is just a te-e-e-ny bit taller than 6' 5" Clarkson, to ensure the rozzers aren't subjected to any Hammondesque height mockery... 🤭
Hmmm think Clarkson May have shrunk! Look at him stood next to 6’5” Usain Bolt, Usain is about an inch to an inch and a half taller! And look at him next to 6’6” Anthony Joshua, he was about 2-3 inches taller!
I find it really funny when Jeremy makes up the times on the lap board With the Mitsubishi Evo X in series 11 he said “1:17.1” when it actually did it in 1:28.2 and the Toyota GT86 in series 19 he said “1:11.7” when it was 1:31.3 Plus the three he did in this video is really hilarious
You can never hate these guys Over a billion million people including myself love this show and over 1000000% of the world loves this show Can you do a video of times Clarkson, Hammond and May have beaten The Stig
Had the same thought! Can’t find a clip - but after a lot of searching on Google, it seems to be from the “Clarkson: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly” DVD. Might be some clips from that floating around somewhere online if you search hard enough!
Could we possibly have a video of when one of the presenters says something and it cuts out in the middle Like when Clarkson refers to Hammond as a bastard in one episode, it cuts out to the film
I just realized what they probably meant by "aerodynamically limited" is that instead of doing it electronically they specifically designed the body to prevent it from going above a certain speed.
Yes, the UK is a very small country, we don’t have vast areas of nothing to put racetracks in so they are near houses, unlike the US we don’t hate each other so we tend to make rules for the benefit of everyone rather than just minority groups who like being antisocial.
@@Jabber-ig3iw most Americans don't hate each other. We do, however, have plenty of room to spread out, and we have racetracks everywhere. I didn't insult your country; there's no call to insult mine. As for laws, both countries, to varying degrees, trample all over our God- given liberties.
