Hi guys in this video il show you how i fitted sound to my Class 101 by Graham Farish, I managed to pick up a cheap sound chip so this is the first loco that wont be me fitting a Hornby TTS chip! its a Zimo sound chip and you can get yourself the same chip as mine from Youchoos, minus the heatshrink that was added by the previous owner, Enjoy the video

Nice job with the sound installation! You are really showing so many benefits of the 3d printer. For a minute I thought you were going to be really clever and make it fit into the slots that the original Bachmann speaker housing fitted into but no Black tack wins the day 😂. Zimo chips are one of the best brands for motor control which you should now find with lots of other options using the aux pads. All the best Tony.

Definitely more choice on the CV's on a Zimo vs TTS chips 😂, 700ish choices to be exact lol and although this is the first zimo chip ive played with i actually still like my TTS chips sound and simplicity wise 👍

I have been resin printing for a few years now and I truly believe model shops will struggle fairly soon when the larger build plated printers come down in price which there is one I have my eye on at the mo 😆

Mono X? The printers really just allow us to have more accurate freedom with the hobby lol, i mean theres stuff my printer can do thats just way to tiny to do by hand! 👍

Yeah I had an fdm printer then photon now photon s but I really want a bigger build plate resin printers are the way forward for detail prints

Cheers for your info on 3d files 👍, i actually tend to make my own if i can as my prints generally end up coming out better 👍, i have tried your method before but it was so much work to convert and fix meshes i gave up and just make my own models now 👍

@@teacoffee5847 i was looking at the mono x but went for my mono se as the smaller build plate can actually move faster... Maybe one day il have both lol 🤞

Those bodies are a nightmare to get off. So easy to scratch the body sides when attempting this, as well as snapping off the underframe detail parts. I know, unfortunately!

Yeah absolutely the windows always catch the chassis when you put them together too, agreed, they are a nightmare! 👍
