The reason there isn't any pauses during playback on the recorder is because that recorder only records for voice activation. Also no pre-recording took place.
also keep in mind that recorder is ONLY recording if something set it off so the "Shannon" was recorded in between the pauses when we were absolutely quiet that is why I kept the full session in video so you see we are absolutely quiet during the session! Thanks for covering this guys!! I still wanna take ya'll on a hunt! haha
The silence might be a "skip silence" feature. Podcast players have it. Im sure a voice recorder has it to skip quiet gaps in voice recordings. They should have disabled it to catch EVP though

Jaystation fakes everything. There’s one video I can easily tell is faked because of the cutting and dodgy effects. But hunting the dead also rumbled one of his speaking to the dead videos recently. He basically took the audio from an interview and edited it with effects. I can’t stand jay at all. So arrogant and attention seeking just to make money from views. Wish his channel never existed as he smears others that are better and makes ghosts/demons into a big joke.

That squeaking in between questions is very strange indeed. I think they reviewed the evp recordings and hear the squeaks and cut that out which might explain why the questions were spliced together so closely, but then they would've heard "Shannon" then. It's odd. 3.5/7
Someone should go into like a notoriously one-ethnicity haunted place and just start blasting off racial epithets if they want the best chance of getting a pissed off ghost EVP on their recording. Plus it'd be mad entertaining.
Or just be a colored person in a notoriously Caucasian-only place. Ironically there's a "White City" nearby me that was for -hurrhurr take a guess- that is noooooooot at all so white right now. I think it's funny.
Nah man, I've learned from horror parody movies that ghosts only haunt white people and some hispanics lol. Btw this was a sarcastic post in the same line of jokes as, well, these movies literally stating word for word as a joke that only white people get their houses haunted and shit.
I wondered about the squeaking too, but as they didn’t react to it at all and just ignored it I’m guessing they knew what was causing it! (i.e. not a ghostie.) Quite cool EVP but tbh not any more impressive than the standard fare caught on _Ghost Adventures_ etc (yeah I’m a jaded old grump). Edit: I’ve just seen their comment where they say the squeaking was birdies, so that’s that mystery solved. 🙂
The noise/squeak was likely a rodent or some sort of animal (it's an old abandoned building, those places are TEEMING with critters)...and the EVP didn't sound like a name at all, and was probably just atmospheric static interference. Still waiting for an EVP that actually has like a clear conversation with someone...think i'll be waiting a long time lol.
That's not why he gave a funny look. He already knew why there's no break in between his questions. The names Jesus and Shannon (however you spell the name) sounds TOTALLY DIFFERENT! It was saying exactly what they thought it was saying. And why play things paranormal when all you guys are going to do is tear it apart even tho what you're saying sounds ridiculous. BUT HEY, it's your channel & your opinion!!
You guys pretend to be skeptical but don't actually apply any actual skepticism or critical thinking whatsoever. Everyone go subscribe to someone who actually tries to debunk videos, Parabreakdown.
To be fair, they used to be far more skeptical. Their older vids are all about debunking and rating based on how well the clips are done. I loved watching back then! But yeah, they seem to be phoning it in lately. I miss the old days with these guys. :(
