Short video on steps to the class ring ordering process, pricing, & warranties. Class rings are affordable and a memory that will last a lifetime. Congrats

I ordered a 10K gold Josten military ring in 1970 when I was in Navy OCS in Newport R.I. I paid $55 for it but unfortunately it was lost in 1973. In 1984, I had a chance to re-order a replacement and the receptionist asked me on the phone why I ordered a cadet ring after such a long time as I now could have been promoted to an admiral !
I have a 1997 Buick Sales Master Award ring. I need the stone replaced and was told by a jeweler that it looked like a Josten design. The stone has the Buick Tri-Shield Logo in it in gold on onyx. Was this one of your companies designs? If so, is it possible to get a replacement stone or have it replaced?
By the way in terms of metal I think I may have boiled it down to 2 of the most durable metals, white lustrium and silver elite but idk which one is more durable because for the white lustrium, its said that it's durability is unmatched but on the silver elite it says that people get the silver elite for other reasons and for it's highly durability, so which one if more durable or is there a metal that is more durable than these two in the jonstans place right now in 2020?
I wanted to get a josten achiver class ring but my school used j lewis small company for class rings so I got a corvette class ring in white Aztec metal
Make sure that if you order at your school that they get your ring size. They didn't do that for my son and I had to take him to the jewelry store to get his ring size and then call them back.
My High School name was a kilometer long and I wonder how they got it onto a ring. When it was time to order class rings, the "committe", made up of the kids of the richest families, picked out the most expensive design on the list. 45 dollars was equal to about a week's pay for most people in 1972-1973. Needless to say, I didn't get one. I wish I could find someone who has a class ring so I can see what design was used.
This whole idea of picking the stone color is strange. You get the color of your school, otherwise it is just a free for all. People are putting their hobbies on the sides too, these are turning into a cluster of meaningless-ness.
