This an absolute Australian classic. A retro works burger. Still delicious to this day and easy to make if you follow the steps in this recipe video. Please give the video a like, share it, and subscribe to my channel. Cheers!!
What can I say, WOW!!! That brings back so many happy memories. I've got tears welling up🥺, that is exactly what I remember from childhood. Milkbar, corner shop, school fete; these were a special treat! Thanks Deano🥲
F’in nailed it. People out there wouldn’t believe how many videos there are on how to cook an Aussie works burger and none get it right…until now. Even the stack order gets messed up, but you sir, even got the little things right like the brand of BBQ sauce. Hats off to you. When the AWB is done right it’s the best tasting burger out there.
Hey there Shaun....love hearing from viewers like yourself who know where I was coming from with this video. Thanks so much for your support, and taking the time to leave a comment. Cheers!!
This is the best lot burger vid I have seen so far. It deserves a million views mate. I might have stacked a few of the ingredients in a slightly different order myself but that's just preference. How good is ETA bbq sauce? In my 52 yrs on this planet, It's the one thing that hasn't changer 1 bit in that time. Same bottle, same label and same flavour. Don't ever change ETA bbq sauce!
Hey there Victor...thanks so much for that mate. For my taste, burgers don't get much better than this, though of course people will think I'm biased in saying that, haha. I hope people give it a try and can judge for themselves. Cheers mate!!
This is the Closest to the real Australian ( made by Hungarian cooks on the corner of Francis st Bondi.) Bondi 'Burger with the Lot' from the 70's. Dunno about the herbs but the rest and the stack order is authentic. The difference mainly is that they melted the cheese on the Top bun under the grill which is far better than on the Beef pattie. Good on you for this reminder that Aussie burgers are indeed upside down .
Yeah!... Wow! It's noting like the 'amburgeer I got at Pete's [no relation] in Kangaroo Flat, but it looks bloody nice!!! The Burgers were better in the 70/80"s!!!! Iceberg or nothing!! (If you know the Cosmic Psychos.... "It's a nice day to get some beetroot... get some beetroot... get some beetroot! )
Thanks so much Pete, sounds like a pilgrimage to Kangaroo Flat is needed. I don't know the Cosmic Psychos but will check them out, sound like my type of band.
This is an Iconic Australian take on a burger recipe. Whey aren't there more followers ? This recipe should be enshrined in Aussie Surfboard Foam.. A loss of Australian cuisine culture is a loss to humanity. This is the Real Deal IN TERMS OF AUTHENTICITY. Just saying... :)
Hey there Kuba, thanks for that. Appreciate your support.....did you check out my video for homemade Chiko Rolls as well? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c1kUjlt__H0.htmlsi=bKaJCrl2eWch9aNx
