Nothin beats the comforting purr of the MGB on a sunny day!

My very first car was a 1972 MGB I bought while stationed in Hawaii in the 80's. I miss that car.... Can't wait to get another one!

Great video- MG's, sun and your in Australia with both-well done! As an American teenager I had a beat-up old 1962 MGA and really appreciated everything about it- made strong and solid, its performance around the corners 'late at night' on a windy road was superb! Ahhhh, today living in crowed suburbia USA and driving a Ford mini van- well at least I can remember what real cars used to be like!

My first car was a 1958 MGA Coupe and my second was a 1965 MGB roadster , I miss them even though they were terribly unreliable. The MGA would not start when below freezing till I modified the start to a solenoid/push button. It was a solenoid for a ford and a push button for a 1953 Plymouth that you could (then) buy at Sears. Also welded up a rack for a single 12 volt battery in the A. I got the A home with a dead pump one time by tapping the pump with a hammer while I drove home.

I don’t know about carting a spare fuel pump around... Mine is just about the only original component on my MGB,and it’s never wet the bed!

the first ones were the best , the 3 bearing crank engine, gud for 110 mph
