*I had 2 of these in the late 1960's a DS19 & DS21 Fabulous cars both, and **_"not a lot of people know this,"_** but the front seats could be folded back making up a huge double bed. Very nice at times..............*

I love how much shit just _breaks_ in old action movies. Like real things, whole sets and stuff just for 5 seconds of a car breaking through it like a juggernaut. Especially with some of the stunts being outright dangerous, like the part where the DS falls apart and you can see how thin those B pillars are. If it had flipped, they would've been squashed and if a stuntman had fallen out, they would've been severely injured or dead. I miss practical effects and real stunts in movies these days. It's all enhanced, greenscreens and computer trickery.

Escape to Witch Mountain with Bette Davis and Peter Cushing roaring around in a black DS. Also... The Electric Grandmother...another Black DS.

The Norwegian crime thriller from 1971, Bortreist på ubestemt tid, starring Ingrid Vardund and Bond-girl from In her majesty's Secret Service, Julie Ege- and directed by Pål Bang Hansen - was not included here, despite a tough car chase on narrow mountain roads in western parts of Norway towards the end of the movie - one of the cars being a Citroen DS.

In Simone e Matteo un gioco da ragrazzi 1975 the villians in that movie used a black DS to chase after the heros truck but along the way it got stuck on a hill, got T boned in the left rear quarter panel twice, got cut in half and eventually met it's demise by a train, can't remember what year that car was but it was definitely before 1968 judging by the headlights
