Credit given to playstation museum for the 1st set of clips! Figured you guys would like a nice compilation of some funny crash commercials of the good years! Unfortunately, movie maker and clip converter couldn't get the CTR roller derby and 1st crash bash commercial working, so they'll be linked here:

I wish we had these commercials again. Not even just Crash Bandicoot (though it's time for a new game), not even PlayStation, we need gaming commercials like these again. Show gameplay, make a cute joke, be at least semi-creative, sell like mad. But now it's just them showing pre-rendered cutscenes and that you should by the console.

+bigad97 its because back then video games were seen as children's toys and nothing more so they could get away with being silly and strange....since video games are just as big as movies now with more adults than kids playing them their commercials have evolved to resemble their new audience

@@WiiVampire17 Not really, you're thinking of the NES and the earlier half of the SNES era. Since about the PS1 and on, at least in the US, video games were being seen as not just for kids. It's definitely the evolution/decline of (most) commercials/television in general.
