The Indian Owners Register of New Zealand invited me to join their annual Ride. The Rally was based at Mt Lyford in North Canterbury, but I joined in for the ride from Kaikoura. Lots of amazing Classic Indian Motorcycles from Chiefs to Scouts plus some rear collectable bikes. Enjoy!

Some amazing original Indians. New Zealand seems to have a wonderful motorcycling community. Nice video. Thanks for uploading. “You can't wear out an Indian Scout, or its brother the Indian Chief. They are built like rocks to take hard knocks- it's the Harleys that cause grief ...

I was on this run With my Girlfriend. We did the Moldsworth on the bikes ,about 150 ks of gravel over a great mountain range and down some huge valleys. What a great day and a great Rally. We here in New Zealand ride our bikes to the rallys and on one trip we were away for 14 days traveling through some of the most beautiful county side. Great times and great bunch of guys .Looking forward to the next rally in February IORNS Forever.

The reasons they went out of business were long and ongoing: -worlds biggest and best motocycle manufacturer by far in 1916 -made mistake by selling all WW1 era production to the govt leaving nothing for the dealers to sell -ownership structure was always an issue in the 20's, being a public company Vs family owned by harley -survived depression in part by selling plant and manufacturing machinery, canabilising itself, machinery was knackerd by the end of WW2 -post WW2 they rushed paralel twin bikes into production without proper testing -when it finally failed in 1953 the right to 'sell' indians got split from the right to 'manufacture' them, which is why it took so long to get them up and running again Obviously peoples love of the Indian bikes and brand never waivered, hence why they're back bigger than ever now.

Hi there, nice videos. Hope you can give me some advice. 1. What settings do you use on your action cam (I'm using a TomTom) when you record your trips. I keep on having a problem where it looks like I'm driving fast even though I'm cruising at 60kmph. My last settings is 1080/60fps, this seems to be much better but videos still feels a bit on the fast side. 2. What app do you use when editing and posting on RU-vid. I'm using Cyberlink Powereditor15. Works fine but final product is quite large in size. Your advice wrt the cam settings and app will be much appreciated. Cheers.... David

Harley-Davidson went broke also. They couldn't give the damned thing away until a bowling ball company came along and saved their ass. Polaris is much more than a snowmobile company. They sell more side by sides than anybody else and they are the worlds largest producer of electric vehicles. They are a large supplier of military vehicles, worldwide. And of course they are the sole producer of high end American Touring bikes. H-D only "assembles," not manufactures motorcycles from Chinese and other mostly Asian sourced parts manufactured by others. Harley used to produce golf carts and snowmobiles also, but like heir motorcycles they were shit, so they lost the market and no longer sell them.
