Brilliant plan to use solar in England, where it is sunny for what, 3 days per month? Who came up with that idea, Baldrick? Where's the body shop? I see nowhere to block a body or prime. Where's the spray booth? You claim to do restoration work, but I don't see any paint areas. Fabrication shop? You have a drill press and sheet metal brake visible. Where's the English wheel, Pullmax, planishers, shrinkers, stretchers, etc.? Doesn't add up.
Hi Thomas. We are located on the south coast of the UK where we get plenty of sun. We are finding the PV system is effective and producing plenty of power. We do not have an inhouse paintshop. We focus on what we do best which is build great driving and reliable cars and outsource our paint to several trusted specialists. Paintwork requires a very different skillset to building cars so we find this works well for us and our customers. I am sorry that we didn't showcase every bit of metalwork equipment we own. I can tell you are something of an expert and would have appreciated a deep dive into this but for the purposes of this film we aimed to keep things brief giving more of a general overview of what we do.
