How does this guy decide to call LoveLine because his dream gun doesn't work? How is this a concern?? I haven't had any dreams like this. My real life is creative, but my dreams are pretty straightforward: My nightmares are about feces, insects, being homeless, or being impotent. I was shitting out foot-long logs in every color, and I had to carry them around and trade them for other brightly-colored turds. They still stunk like shit, but they were part of the champagne recipe.
Whenever a cop has written me a ticket, either on my bike or in my car, they always ask for an explanation of why I was doing what they stopped me for. And I always reply, does it matter? It never does, of course. So if it doesn’t matter why I was going 15 mph over the speeding limit or why I didn’t stop at a stop sign while riding on campus, then you’re just wasting both of our time. Write me the ticket and let me go. But they always want to hear your reasoning just so they can tell you how stupid that reasoning is. Don’t fall for it. It just gets you talking - which civilians should never do with cops when they’ve been stopped. What you say can only gets you into more trouble, it’ll never get you off, no matter how valid the excuse is.
ironic that they’d give a talk show host shit for talking. the Adam LL years were the highest rated and most profitable by far, who cares how many calls they took.
