Following a surprising amount of views on the Weston Park Historic Rally Video Part 3 (Thank You!!)..... I've been delving into old phone and camera memory cards looking for event footage from past years.... the other day I unearthed this little gem from 2016 of the Classic Nostalgia at Shelsley Walsh... and it's probably one of my favourite live action events still.
... So grab a brew... don't forget the biscuits and turn those speakers up for the glorious sound of the 1936 Auto Union Type C Supercharged V16 ripping up that famous hill.... plus the legendary Group B cars and some delightful Ferrari 308's.
I recently read that this infamous pre war Auto Union V16 beast engine was actually developed by Ferdinand Porsche... everyday is a school day.
I'm hoping to go again next/this year (.... 2024)
