Hi! If it's too runny, try adding more flour or cornstarch. Perhaps an extra tablespoon of cornstarch? Also, the pie needs to cool down. Once it's cooled, it should thicken further. Hope that helps!

Happy Peach Season Tatyana! It's peach season here in beautiful Colorado! I went out to a local farmers market and got some fresh Palisade peaches this past weekend, Then I watched your amazing video on "Classic Peach Pie with Cinnamon Crumble". I'm here to let you know that they (I made four) came out as wonderful as your video did with your help instructing me to make it! I didn't have as deep a dish as you did, but I my pyrex pie dishes worked just fine with me layering the peaches. This was a serious first for me because I had never made a pie with a lattice crust before, but following you step by step, it came out pretty well! I truly wish I could upload the picture I took of them to show them off to you, but can't on here, so you'll just have to take my word for it they look wonderful! My friends who I gave them to thought so as well. Thank you so much for sharing with us all us out here. Beautiful pie! Ive made it twice and it was a favorite. Although, my crumble came out wet and not crumbly at all. Any idea why?

I'm so glad you enjoyed this recipe! Hmm, make sure you bake the crumble at a high enough temperature for it to harden more. Maybe even try using the broiler on low setting

That is one gorgeous pie! I can never roll out my dough without it cracking, and when I leave it to soften a bit, it sticks even with a floured rolling pin! How do you roll your dough so gorgeously? Thanks!

Thank you! Hmm, sometimes if you don't add enough water and the dough is dry, it will crack and fall apart. Try adding just a little bit more water, even a tablespoon can make a difference.

i'm not sure if i saw it right. Did you leave the skins of the peaches on? and also can i use canned peaches instead of fresh ones? I want to do this for our Christmas dinner and peaches are not available.

Hi! I love this recipe and your video, the filling was amazing! But for the butter pie crust you say 1 tbsp and 1/2 tsp salt, right? It came sooo salty (the pie crust!). Am I hearing it wrong?

I love the peach pie .It was so easy to make ,but how do you make it with peaches super small because I grow peaches only about an inch tall and an inch wide and I have about 80of them and they are just sitting in my kitchen taking up three whole big food bins so I really need to use them for something. #tomanypeaches.

Peaches aren’t in season where I’m at right now so is it okay if I use canned peaches? If so how many cans would total for 8-10 peaches? I’d appreciate it if you could give me an answer thank you!!! (:

If you're going to prepare an apple pie, the apples need to be cooked before adding them into the pie...

How do you keep your pie crust from getting tough?

Alexandra Musick Be careful not to add too much flour! The flour will kill it. Try adding less flour than specified in a recipe, then add the rest in small increments. Too much flour will make the dough rubbery! The dough should be slightly sticky but will set when you place it into the refrigerator.

If you don't have a food processor, you can use 2 large forks to help break the butter down

Hunnie those are nectarines.... not peaches. Lol. Nectarines are one of my favorite fruits and those are defenitely not peaches but his recipe looks great non the less :)

ohhh ok makes sense yeah i actually just had a terrifying experience with a peach from bc..... two black squiggly bugs came out and they were alive!!! I cut in in half before biting into it thank goodness.... I think I'm off peaches for a while haha

I really wish you’d of shown a cut piece, even if it was a picture from later. I was very interested in seeing how the crumble faired on the inside. Also, you might want to edit your title, because those are Nectarines, not Peaches. 🍑 Either way, it looked very good. I really like a deep dish pie myself. I usually make the pie filling, freeze it, and then it gets thawed and eaten with whipped topping or vanilla ice cream. One day it’ll make it to a 🥧 pie again..lol I see a lot of recipes using only white sugar, but I use both, heavier on the brown sugar side. Makes a big difference. :)

Great presentation! Enjoyed every minute of your video. I've been baking for over thirty years. Sometimes I would ruin my crust using foil.If you haven't already check out chefscatalog.com. I invested in pie shields of all sizes. I never have to fuss with foil again. I just discovered you and I plan on being a faithful watcher. The finial out come of your pie was not only beautiful,but looked delicious. Keep up the good work.

You can replace it with a bit of vanilla extract or leave it out all together. The recipe will still be amazing :)

Very nice video, however, If you take the tinfoil, and fold it in half, and cut out a semi circle (which is a full circle when you unfold it), then place that on top to cover the edges, it's way, way easier, and you don't have to worry nearly as much about crushing the edges accidentally. Also, the skirt you are wearing in this makes a very odd effect on the camera, it's like your skirt has moving lines all over it.
