Worst part of this spot is the graveyard walk back. It takes over ten mins. Huge risk if you die.

In between respawns you should be riding down to the tower where the Spellbinders are the only mobs dropping the Crusader recipe. That can be a serious amount of gold.

Wow I literally got inspired to farm this place again after watching this video and on my second pull got a Libram of Constitution myself.

I watched this video in January and I have to say this is the absolute best place to farm . I’ve made 1000g from raw silver , arcane crystals, and everything you get from here . I even got 3 arcane crystals in one rich thorium node

There are much more rares there. Inside the tower next to the mine are two rare spawns (one on the top and one on the bottom). There is also a chest spawn in this tower (on the top). Inside the other tower and inside the city hall are rare spawns too (long respawn time). There are 4 Scarlet Sentinel (elite) spawns at the entrance of Hearthglen. You can AoE/Kite them while you are waiting for the Scarlet Workers to respawn.

Ppl should count the time to do full circle: start where you are - go to grindspot - turn findings in to gold - go to starting position of grind. Because if you also count the time to vendor, sell on AH and travel the g/h change.

God, I love this game.

i really miss the days of classic launch.... i was farming that spawn within less than a week after classic release, was the only lvl 56+mage when i started hearthglen grinding at lvl 60, and as far as i know i was the 2nd or 3rd lvl 60 on my server overall... i had mining+ enchanting to disenchant loot while grinding (well, the pieces that werent worth selling on AH .... in the first weeks of classic there was ALOT of lvl 55-60 greens that sold easily on AH for 30-100g and mining actually made me a fortune in hearthglen because of those rich veins inside the cave and layer hoping before blizzard removed layers... my server had 3layers early on, and i could mine the rich ore in each of those layers every 15-20mins, arcane crystals were kinda uncomon but the regular ore and stuff were still very very profitable. I also found freezing band on my 2nd day being lvl 60 and sold it as fast as i could for ONLY 600ish gold.... it was the server's first as far as i known... 600g might sound little and i must admit that less than a week later i saw another sell for 1k++ but at the time where i got 600g for it, each gold was worth over 1.50$ on RMT websites.... (that was the price those websites offered to buy gold for from suppliers, they actually resold it for like 2.5-3$ each lol ..... sadly within less than 2weeks, heartglen was overrun by other people trying to aoe farm gold.... along with most other well known spawns... at that point i'D either duo with a friend who was paladin (concecration build for aoe farm) to farm stuff i couldnt do alone or else id go solo ZF if i wanted a ez relaxing time because zf was ez af, or scarlet monastery for silks and everything.... was very good reliable gold! i made so much real life $ from selling classic gold in the first 2months after release that i honestly wish we could go back in time!!! it felt so nice to wake up and go make anywhere from 80 to 300$++ per hour playing wow for 18h in a row and repeat for days straight....

This was my favorite farm in Vanilla, I have spent so many hours aoe'ing all those mobs. You can also aoe the elites btw :)

FROST i would ove to see a video on rare recipes and where to farm them, any world drop recipes or specific mobs that drop a useful pattern for us to capitalize on

God mages have it so easy with all this aoe freezing/slows and aoe damage lmao

Actually, this spot is not so forgotten on my server. When I came there for quests 4 times, all of those had the mined being veahily farmed, either mobs from mages or eins form warirors/paladins. Still, thanks for the guide! It did explain me why it was so heavily farmed and how they do it.

Yeah on my server there are always a ton of mages grinding here. Mostly because of Joker's first lvl60. This spot is not worth it unless you are alone there at 100%. As soon as another mage shows up the gold/h decrease super super fast.

With your knowledge you could make a compendium of farmspots with their respective g/h w/w/o professions. I would really like to see all the options open to me.

Quick question for you: do you havr any sppt to farm Gold that wouldnt requires me to respec twice and cost 80-100g everytime. Im in raid spec pure arcane/frost. When i have 4 hours + i respec for ZF runs but less than 4 hours i feel ita useless with the respec Cost.... any idea where I could farm (less efficient maybe..) gold by staying in raiding spec? This is favorite place to farm people until they log too. Wait for those mages etc to clear the cave for the thorium and then ambush and they die. Too good, wholesome pvp that pays off. Lofl

I like how one can just get lost in some far away place, where only one or two quests will lead you. Farm mobs and veins/blooms and almost all the time to not see anybody to walk in there :D PS: What mod is the "radial menu" at 10:15? It is looking cool! Very good idea for icons that you do not use often, but you want to have them close at hand.

Hey Frost could you do a mage prep vid for BWL, and the rest of the raids? Believe it or not, its hard to find information on this stuff! Ive been looking through youtube for the past month for videos on prep for the upcoming raids and cant find much apart from just guides for the raids.

It takes like ten to fifteen minutes to respawn and they mainly drop silver only, in downtime u can kill spellbinders for crusader as they're only like 30 seconds away. I've been farming dm north dogs and first boss, i got my first epic off dogs, axe of the deep woods, I thought it would only fetch maybe 30 some gold but I put it up for 70 bid and 120 buyout and someone bid then someone else bought it.

I have a question regarding your UI. I have never been able to make LortiUI to work properly. It's supposed to blacken most of the UI frames, but it doesn't make it 100% black like it is on your setup, but more like a dark grey. I've read that a bunch of other people have the same issue, but don't know how to resolve it. Can you help?

Dude I never played wow before classic. One month in I was 60 rogue riding 60% mount and pickpoketing BRD for 25 g/h. You are much more experienced and after watching your vids I thought that I should level a mage just to farm gold at a better rate close to 60 g/h, that was a dream. However I didn't do that and decided to enable my own brain instead. I found out that gold can be farmed at 120 to 180 g/h rate on a constant basis and much more entertaining than what you propose. I did it for a month already 5h+ a day and I sit on ~25k gold atm. Speaking from perspective of horde rogue on gehennas. You played wow for years and I believe that you know better methods than 50g hearthglen aoe. However you never talk about any of these, why?
