Honestly the changes are very underwhelming considering the quality of the loot in p2 and p3, but it’s certainly understandable they needed to reign in the power creep. We are already entirely too strong.
The problem with SOD is that the devs had a chance to make the game really fun and engaging - to make it feel truly magical. Instead, they only made a few minor, worthless teaks to shit items that no one wants, or will be replaced nearly immediately. They could have revamped set items and bonuses and reworked all of the drops, but they chose the path of merely making a token effort every few months. Had they put in good effort the SOD could have been amazing. Sadly, Blizzard simply doesn't care.
@@Astronic but,.... there is new dungeon? and we don't know for future maybe they will add new raid, world bosses being instanced raids is new enough too...
I mean I get that it was a quick video and that you didn't have a second set of eyes to catch stuff you missed. But definitely feel the need to go back through myself aha
Dungeon gear even compared to ST gear had a nice step up in stats in some pieces so I see why they didn't go crazy with buffs. I remember in vanilla that the issue is that you get preraid and then you go into MC and realize that nothing is an upgrade so they just keep on the dungeon gear lol
The rend set is going to be the most annoying thing to get, cause of melee huntards lol. I may avoid them as a whole, and just pvp. That fiendish machete is looking nice for elemental farm.
@@luciananujic7550 didn’t watch it yet you wanted to comment on it. Not just once but come back 2 days later and comment again. I don’t like being mean or rude to people but you’re an absolute clown 🤡
seems lazy to me. Slightly buff/tweek some pre raid gear....fun. Is this what we wanted in P4 SoD? Where is the massive new zone that has been hidden for 20+ years? Where is the NEW unlocked classic raid/dungeon zones that have never been explored?! Phase 5? Phase 7? Phase 10? Call me in 2030 when a real Classic+ is ready and actually supported by the company.
It's literally the first phase of level 60, give them a break, plus I don't think there is a massive team working on SoD either, wait until they get through all the old raids/dungeons then you can be commenting this kind of shit.
Alot of people say this gear is too good and isn't really vanilla gearing which I agree with, but it's a seasonal server so crazy juiced gear can be pretty fun to use I would suggest not for us to get showered with gear and the gear level not increase too high when bwl comes so mc doesn't become a catch up raid that would be sad. Then we would have a real retail minus as much as I hate the term lol.
Did you even look at the gear? They are adding like 1 DPS or like 3 total AP to items... Apparently that means it's not really Vanilla gear anymore? LMAO Taking a completely worthless item and adding 15 SP? OMG GAME ISN'T VANILLA ANYMORE! Man you cry babies.
@@OMGiTzSpAnKy well its also that gear is falling into a template main stat plus stam plus secondary stats alot like wrath. Not much MC or BWL follow that formula except for a few choice coveted items. When things don't match a basic formula there is room for interpretation on what is bis and reduces the ability for people to gatekeep with Ilvls. I'm not complaining on the forums about it or saying SoD is dead lol I'm going to be grinding p4 just like I'm grinding p3 right now.
Hi, I dont understand the Typhoons on équip effect. IS this some error ? Or that means that the effect happens only once After you equip the Sword ? It would be cool I imagine macro swing weapons from Fury to arms to cast overpower and double hit with this
11:00 they changed the on use from 15min cd to 2 min cd. Pretty huge. Actually viable prebis healing trinket now. Up every boss basically. 300 mana every 2 min instead of every 15. It´s like 13-15mp5 worth it´s kinda big. Block tanks seem to be getting a lot of love too. Also the 0.5 sets are gonna be nuts if they have to make it worth farming.
Ppl always complaining, like if they were forced to play or something. Its better to have classic than have nothing at all. They should try to live without a computer for a week like most ppl on this planet do
Another way to look at Classic WoW, is that it gets people in the door as Blizzard customers again. Sure you only need a sub, but just that sub you that doesn't get you real access to retail, you still have to buy that expansion. Also it has helped them when retail was bleeding players during Shadowlands.
By not giving their subscribers the fresh realm wont ppl go back to private servers? Agreed with SoD too i felt like of all the options to go they went down the drain path.
The difference between Vanilla and pretty much all of the expansions is that you remember each quest. I don't think if you named a single quest in Dragonflight that I would be able to tell you about it from memory, and I've leveled multiple alts through Dragonflight.
I remember coming across the Dead Mine gates from the outside, and I had no idea what they were, even though I had run the Dead Mine many times. I was delighted when I found out what they were.
What i really loved about all starting zones / wow in general, was that back then, these zones had JUST enough details to be pretty, but not cluttering. In Retail aswell as new MMO's, you start in a zone full of detail / props everywhere, hud elements. Before you even start playing you feel overwhelmed, i hate it. I never even get to try games, because i quit out of them straight away. Give me a clean looking game that does not feel claustrophobic, in which i can visually see straight away where to go and what to do.
'Ease of access, districts, full package, perfection'. Jonathan Staats(the guy who designed BRM and MC), stated SW had a confusing layout. Personally, most new players will find the city confusing. SW best city ever in MMO? Play engineer/blacksmith often enough and you keep asking yourself about Dwarven District, why isn't that tavern an Inn with an Innkeeper, why isn't that marble building a freaking bank?! Oh don't even get me started on how wasteful of a resource 'Park' zone was. It was originally 9 District design but later cut down to 6 but they kept that. Smh. The best moment of SW, which is your first entry into the Valley of Heroes where the music hits your soul which is something I can agree on. The story of the human zone is also one of my favorite.
Bro I farmed the big iron fishing pole on my ret in sod and it took me over an hour. I was legit gonna quit multiple times until the LAST LAST LAST LAST LAST one I told my self was the final straw, it drops
