Well, Ave Maria means blessed Mary, Jesus's mother here on earth so no matter what, it is a catholic song. It comes from the angel praising Mary announcing to her Jesus. From Luke 2 or 3. We Christians, pentecostals or Reformed we don't praise Mary. So it is a cool song.

I would like to recommend you dimash's "marigold". It's not a popular song for reactors coz it doesn't have the 5 octaves range. Dimash is not just a singer but a very educated musician, composer, producer and director of videos, model and a very intelligent young man! Dimash is very modest but he knows what his voice can do. He can also be very stubborn about what he wants to do. He changes things because some people have said that he is lip-syncing, or using auto-tune or both. Dimash has his masters degree in music. He was supposed to come to America to work on his doctorate but COVID struck the world. He may still finish up his education, we’ll wait and see. He has perfect pitch and he has been classically trained since the age of 5. His mother is an opera singer. He refused a position at the local opera house because he wants to bring tight world what he calls is neo-classic singing. He still has a vocal coach and says that since Pavarotti had a coach into his 70’s then so can he. Dimash practices 3 hours a day when he can. He loves vocalizing, he has vocalized the song “Know” but “Ave Maria” is the only one written for him so far. He is a gift to this world and I hope the world will get to see and appreciate him. He loves music. When he’s at the airport alone he’ll start singing to himself or playing drums on a table or his knees which eve is available. 😊

The story is that Dimash called Igor and told him what he wants for Ave Maria. Igor worked on that and after 2 days, he called Dimash and after listened, Dimash said : This is what I wanted ! And that's it, we eared this Ave Maria !!! From Montreal, Canada ( a big Dimash's Dear for 5 years. I'm 68 years old !

Dimash asked Igor to compose an Ave Maria for him, and this is the amazing result. I saw a short video where Dimash, even though he's been singing since age 5, worked with a vocal coach to make sure he could sing the last two notes perfectly, because it's a difficult technique. Ave Maria has been performed over 3000 times, but never with a composition like this, and never with such an amazing voice.
Igor Krutoy (composer and pianist) is Jewish; Dimash is Muslim. This song is a tribute to a Christian figure: Mary, the Mother of Jesus! Really, words are not worthy of her. This is not the Franz Schubert´s Ave Maria, on Bach/Gounod´s, or Michael Lorenc´s or Ave Maria di Caccini. I know them well because I used to play them when I studied piano. This is a new one The lyrics: "A aaaa" = Magics with only one (1) vowel. And "wow" is perhaps the best comment. I guess that who needed an Igor Krutoy was Yma Sumac. She had so much talent and so many self developed techniques and such a range that was not well exposed for the lack of songs for such a wonder of singing.
