I know it's irony to say this but she is classically trained. Her intonation and breathing is on point. Her support is perfect as is her tone. In all sense of the word, she's a professional. From a technical standpoint, she didn't showcase a single flaw. I just hate the metallic in her voice. It's subjective but I can't stand it. It's irritating to my ears. Whatever you think of her, you can't say she can't sing. I mean, you could but you would be wrong.

That's only a relatively recent thing. Before the 1990's, most pubs wouldn't serve pints to women. Women would drink either a glass of lager/stout (half a pint), or a short with a mixer.

It’s probably partly to do with their attitude that pretty much the only acceptable music to listen to is classical music for some reason. You see it in Ben’s tweets. It’s weird. Don’t get me wrong I love classical music. It honestly makes me upset that these idiots are making people think that only assholes listen to it. Or that people who are classical musicians don’t also listen to like Slipknot or something. It’s all expression.

The only drink i have that issue with are milkshakes and hot chocolate. Luckily they are more heavy than completely liquid drinks, so after one very big glass, my stomach is feeling very full and it hurts of i try to drink more, so it's all controlled. xD

She means classic as an alternative to "traditional". She leads a mostly traditional life and promotes a mostly traditional life to women. The only difference is that she believes women should be allowed to work rather than just be trad wives who stay at home full time which is why she doesn't call herself traditional. Her message has nothing to do with being "classy". It's about encouraging women to be more traditional (i.e. religious, conservative, married young, modest, etc) while still being a part of modern society.

I don't recall ever end in the hospital after I get drunk, true i only did get drunk 5 times but never woke up in the hospital, the fact that I don't drive helps, but even then, when I started to get drunk I can feel and try to surround myself with people that are more sober so if I try to drink more them can stop, so I never got drunk to the point I need to go to the hospital.

I would say in the vast majority of marriages, its completely okay and safe to get drunk with your husband, alone, and if its not, its not a healthy situation and you should probably leave. That’s blaming a victim for being in a situation that probably wasn’t dangerous until after they were married, or maybe she was manipulated into getting married to him. You don’t know the full context, so don’t blame her “choice” of a husband. Abusive people get what they want. The original comment is a victim who is stating her opinion and experience, and here you are blaming her for being raped, which is by definition non consensual.

She means classic as an alternative to "traditional". She leads a mostly traditional life and promotes a mostly traditional life to women. The only difference is that she believes women should be allowed to work rather than just be trad wives who stay at home full time which is why she doesn't call herself traditional. Her message isn't about being "classy". It's about encouraging women to be more traditional (i.e. religious, conservative, married young, modest, etc) while still being a part of modern society. It's about embodying the "classic American woman".

Ana M classic is describing something as being in line with cultural values of Romans and Greeks. It would be accurate to describe something as classic if it is very simple, structured, symmetrical and complete. It doesn’t mean traditional (traditional can mean anything). The way she uses the word is inaccurate, which is very irritating considering the fact that she works as an opera singer.

THANK YOU FOR THIS. The main reason I dislike people like Classical Abby is cause for absolutely everything there must be limits and restrictions. Which can be good to an extent, however, people like her clearly view life as a performance that is constantly being rated by others, so to her, changing what you wear, how you speak, and how you drink and eat in order to please others (such as her husband or church friends or Jesus) is an important component to happiness and a fulfilling life, but the thing is at the end of the day literally no one gives a shit about any of that. Like damn sis just calm down, you're not gonna be sent to hell for having a good time on earth.
