When I took over my current classroom, the previous teacher had had her husband put all of the furniture on wheels. This, along with the cart she left me, is probably the greatest gift any retiring teacher could leave for an incoming teacher. It made moving things to where I wanted SO MUCH EASIER...and especially when I moved across the hall last summer. Get your furniture on wheels, so then when you can't decide which side to put it on, it's easier to move.

My favorite purchases have been books for the class library. I took over a 1st grade class after fall break (teacher retired). Most of the books she had were old and beat up. There were books from the 70s and 80s. I have been culling the library over Christmas break and brought in a bunch of new books. I can't wait for my students to explore the new books when we come back.

My favorite purchase for my classroom was their holiday gifts I gave this year! They were all $1 slime and a party pack that was also $1. It was so special to them and so cheap for me. The best teacher gift I got was all the hand made cards my kids made me because I was not returning after the Christmas break. LOVING these videos and so happy to see you back on youtube!

I just edited a TON! The part where you see me moving furniture twenty different times? I had so much footage of literally that 😂 but it does make it easier knowing kind of what I like! Also a lot less prep with creating

Your classroom is coming together and I love it! Your aesthetic is so pleasing. My favorite classroom item I purchased is this tapestry I got from a book subscription box. It has an open book and a kid reading and a quote that says “books fall open, you fall in.” I hung it up over our library on the day of our readathon as a surprise for my fifth grade class and they loved it. It was always my favorite place in my room. #mccgiveaway3

IKEA! They aren't the most sturdy but they have held up so far! They are the kind that have the cardboard backing that you nail in. Thank you for the compliment!

#mccgiveaway3 my favorite purchase so far has probably been my buzzers for games in my class!! I teacher theatre so we play a lot of theatre games that are in the style of “who’s line is it anyway” and the buzzers are so useful!

This sounds silly, but my favorite purchase was a little bucket for bandaids! It hangs by my sink so students can independently grab a bandaid when they need one. They don’t even have to ask. This has seriously decreased interruptions and trips to the nurse. #mccgiveaway3

Dear gracious am I loving this series. Your presence in the teacher tuber sphere is such a present! We are fully remote...and I am loving it but my room is always ready to go. I love love love benches around the family meeting area. It's so much easier to circle up and see one another. The benches are trofast benches from ikea which I found on an amazing deal from FB marketplace. #mccgiveaway3
