@@MrsCallsCampers my mentor teacher has a bunch of different QR code’s hanging on them for students to follow along or listen to read aloud then has them write something about the story. It might be a good place for an interactive word wall too for word work or writing center!

I know you said you don’t usually have a lot of decor and those brown shelves are pretty tall to put books all the way to the top, but you could move the shelves down so that the kids can reach they can reach and use the top portion to hang anchor charts inside for your retails with the corresponding book displayed

I used those decodables when I was in school. We used to get our own workbook of decodables. Each kid got one, and they'd rip their books out to take home. I considered buying some for my class, but Razkids has the same resource and my district pays for it!
