I'm very grateful. My number did jump to 14 last week, but still thankful it's that low. When I was in elementary school, our class numbers hovered around 28 regularly, so I can only imagine how much more time and effort you devote with class numbers like that. I hope you're having a wonderful year so far!
You know I am glad that you said you have such a short time for science and social studies because I'm student teaching right now and it seems this is the case in many, many classrooms. My plan, and what I have been doing is to implement these topics as much as I can into other areas and get that cross-curricular instruction going. That half hour at the end of the day gets stolen away by other things very often.
I ended up putting them in sandwich-sized storage containers; however, the "1" block didn't fit, so I need to figure out another solution for this upcoming school year. It worked for last year, though!
not being nosey or anything but what kind of phone do you have and where do you keep it during the school day my sister is a teacher this year she wanted to know about where keeping your phone.
kevin potter Where I work, we are actually required to keep them on us throughout the day! My friend works in a school where they're allowed to have them in school but they must remain in their desk. Every school is different!
Nichole Bird It's just another seating option for the classroom, especially for those who are reading. I intend to purchase one more, but haven't gotten around to it just yet.
Hey I have a good idea for school. If you have kids in your classroom that looks at the clock get a round clock and spell the word focus you the clock as the “O”
Lashya Teaches Thank you! They have their moments, but overall, they're pretty great. I've socialized them since day one. They're not great on leashes, but I pick my battles. Lol
