Great video! I will check out Lumcube - wonder if I can get Lumcube in Malaysia....Great ideas for equipment. I also bought the Tribit Bluetooth and now I might check out the ear buds.
Thanks for the Lumecube recommendation. I'm going to look into it. I've tried a few different lights (ring light, spotlights, lamps), but a lot of them give me headaches. I also like that they're USB. Thanks, Michael! Happy teaching!
I was wondering if anyone tried the tribit fly buds and had any trouble with the other side hearing them. I am not sure if I need to purchase the headset that comes with the mic instead. Btw, thanks for the awesome video!
Great video Michael! I have a standup ring light, but it seems harsh even though it has yellow to bright white adjustments. My lighting is o.k., not by any means wow. I've been teaching online for almost 4 years and really looking to perfect my lighting. It's like I can't get it exactly as I want. Thanks for the tips, I will be looking into it. Very helpful! Notably Nancy :)
Great video. I'm just in the process of considering teaching on line. Can you tell me if I would need a laptop with windows, or is it possible to perform without it?
Today’s products can be used by people in all fields who just want to look and sound their best on camera, whether it’s for business or for just pleasure.
Do you have the Broadcast Lighting Kit with the tripod or the Video Conference Light with the suction cup? Is there a difference between the light cubes that come in either the BKL or VCL?
Hi Maria - I have both and featured both in this video. The Broadcast Lighting Kit has a slightly larger light, comes with the suction mount AND tripod with a 360 degree ball head swivel to angle your light wherever you need. The Video Conference Light is slightly smaller and comes with the suction mount (no tripod). I've used both and love both so it's a matter of your personal budget and needs. Hope that helps :)
Thanks for the lighting recommendation! I do have a question, does the suction cup feature seem to stay on your computer? After doing some research, that seems to be the only complaint for the Lumecube.
