In my oppinion, Les Misérables is the best musical of all time. No other musical combines fantastic and varied music with a great story. Timeless masterpiece.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil on Les Misérables many times. An incredible genius and gentleman.

This a wonderful conversation. Julia Zemiro was the perfect person to speak with Claude-Michel and he was clearly comfortable and enjoyed be there as much as all in attendance. Thanks to the State Library of Victoria and all concerned for this and the upload. - Craig Renshaw

What a legend! Years ago, you could hear “Do you hear people sing” in Cantonese in Central, Hong Kong.

27:10 Wow, what a surprise. Claude-Michel Schonberg can't read music. I wonder how he works when he is composing. Very interesting and surprising. Also surprised that Pavarotti couldn't read music either.
