Knowing Kershaw that "bad outing" was probably two runs in 6 1/3 innings pitched with 6 strikeouts, 3 hits, and a walk or something like that. It's absurd just how good on average he really is. We forget how historic this is after seeing him doing it for so long.
@@tmccloudjr13 "every athlete"? I'll have to Google footage of Jeter screaming in frustration when his throw was a couple inches off... or David Robinson slamming the basketball because he (or a teammate) missed a layup...
@@wczxdrtxsu4220: Bumgarner (0) and Lincecum (1) have one season combined with an ERA as low as Kershaw’s *career* ERA (2.48). Not even lower, mind you. It took arguably Tim Lincecum’s best year to merely match Clayton Kershaw’s career ERA.
@@flamingcobra6458 longevity of course its ryan, but overall value to the team idk. kershaw’s years of dominance was probably the greatest run we’ve ever seen, and i think strikeouts are a bad way of determining pitching value, so id go with kershaw in all honesty
I know exactly how he feels I was the same way when I played. No one had to say anything to me when I wasn't happy with how I was playing. I always said enough!
Or a guy who has high expectations of himself and is competitive. Dont think he takes it out on his teammates so its probably his way of letting his frustration with himself out.
This is like asking an entire MLB team not to be enraged by the other team cheating in a similar manner. Cause yes, the dodgers and other large and small organizations also cheat. Yet the MLB is too scared of losing/disciplining a large organization of a team. This feels like just utter butthurt talking.
Pitchers are the most emotionally fragile players in baseball. They can come pump their fists stare people down and scream and celebrate but if a player watches at home run too long or flips a bat in a way they don't like or is too slow rounding the bases or just has good numbers up and then they will literally intentionally throw a 96 mph fastball at someone. Which has been proven to cause horrific concussions, season or career-ending injuries, etc. Throwing at someone intentional is a pathetic disgusting display of literal assault. Imagine if a hitter had bad numbers against one of the pitchers and threw the bat their way. They are soft.
Literally none of this has to do with throwing at batters. You are seeing a player be frustrated with his own failure (batters do this literally constantly after striking out LMFAO) and correlating it to something completely different. You’re right about many pitchers doing that and being wimps, but this is not at all whats happening in the video
Show me when Kershaw has gotten mad at a runner for admiring a home run too long. Every time he gives up a home run he’s most likely pissed at himself not focusing on he batter.
You understand that multiple other teams, including the dodgers, also cheat just as bad as the Astros did? The only reason why they don't get absolutely desecrated by the MLB and other fans/teams is because they are a bigger organization with more money. This is even excluding the fact that the better players on the Astros didn't need to cheat nor did it. This is just an example of some butthurt Dodgers fan or just an idiot.
