Maxing Out A Stock K24 Going for 700HP 

can you explain a little bit more about this elevation you speak of and how can it be calculated please very intresting.

Well what ive learned elevation plays a big part where i live elevation is like 4500ft so all motor builds are ass where i live mostly everyone is boosted

they seem to be doing a decent job but people have been making 600-800 on stock k series motors for 10 years. nothing new

@@wilsonulloa5282 if you google and use forums its been done. There are a ton of them in the 600 700+ range some have dabbled at 800. A friend of mine made 802 stock f20 ( more or less same motor ) another friend 740 ( f20 ) another friend 660 stock.k24 the one thats on my channel and I live in a shit hole city in Canada with zero car scene. Its extremely common to seem them mid to high 600s. But when forums were around you could find them in the 700 and some people touched 8s. 800s is obviously not common

@@wilsonulloa5282 theres also I think Evans tuning tunes it. Some promod tube chassis car. Stock k20 maybe head studs. Makes 1000+ going for stock k series 1/4 record.

The k20 made 700 the 24 made 692. K24 is way beyond it’s torque limit. 20 has a bit left.

Con un tuner la mitad de bueno en España me conformaba...

Eso es la magia de los honda K20-24... pocos motores en el mundo pueden triplicar su potencia de aspirado a turbo sin cambiar piezas dentro el motor... hasta motores ya turbo es dificil duplicar la potencia con piezas internas originales... de todos modos, tambien en europa a los K20 les sacan 500+ hp pero me parece que hay diferencias entre los carros EDM y USDM... el problema es que en EU no se consigue facilmente E85... y eso hace una buena diferencia, almenos 40-50hp respecto a la 93 RON americana...

La E85 les deja hacer maravillas con el timing

The k24a2 was in the Acura TSX from 04-08

Sure. This is a classic "frankenstein" engine. You need the bottom end K24, oil pump and head from K20a2, without these OEM parts on the K24, simply you can not reach the rpm of the k20 and/or survive too much.

Car uses a k24 head and a k24 block from a TSX.

Apologize for my lack of knowledge about honda engines. I assumed the k24a2 was not a OEM enginw becase I have seen many "frankenstain" engine parts put togeter but onestly I can't remember each one. Probably this is needed if your k24 is not an "A2"... but i do not understand how an OEM head designed for a 2.4 L engine can rev the same of rpm of the K20A2... good to know...

@@jona_ej2330 only parts changed on the engine is an 50 degree camgear and type s oil pump. Both oem parts from honda

@@tannerharkey stock engine man. I think u need to watch the video by humble that tells u what stock is. All that K got is a turbo kit, engine all OEM, factory parts.
