wow!!! a lot of power!! i had a k20z3, I recently boosted and the tune was on the street so I dont know my nmbers but whit your videos at least I can had an idea, your content is awesome!! congrats y Saludos desde Los Cabos Mèxico!
Your kits sold out or back order I wanna start ordering my stuff and boost my 97 EK hatch K24a2 This summer I want to aim for 400whp or less, Where do I find innercooler and piping to go right in to a sidewinder manifold T3 im thinking and RBC intake manifold.
Microsquirt is perfect for B series and its cheaper and has 2x analog inputs, even the MS3 Pro evo which has massive amounts of IO is about the same price as the 550... as for losing IO on coil on plug setups, what you can do is configure the coils to run in wasted spark mode instead of sequential, so you only use two outputs instead of all four, this is fine for 95% of setups, as is running batch injection ( all 4 injectors on one output) as long as your injector resistance does not draw more than 8A (if so use resistors) so you pick up 3 more outputs that way.... but I totally agree the s300 is a POS by todays standards, the old Honda ECUs are not worth anything more than a good Chrome chip.
Bullshit. Its not the same price. Once everything else you need is factored in, the haltech is at least $1200. The hondata is basically plug and play at ~$800. Thats quite a big difference on a car youre trying to build _on a budget._ Im sure the haltech is superior. But lots of things are superior and we dont buy them becuse they dont fit our budget. Id love a set of $5000 ohlins coilovers. But that isnt in my budget. Hell, id take a set of teins. But that isnt either. So i compromise with a quality set of lowering springs and shocks. Because that is the budget. And dont say that people should just budget more or bot do it. I could make the same argument against the 550. You shouldnt get that becuse it isnt at good as the 1500. _"If you can't nafford to do it right, dont do it at all."_ bullshit. Yeah, whatever.
If I had and questions about Wiring a test stand to run a k series engines, could you help me?I'm sure there's a way I could use a stock ecu and and immobilizer with key. I just don't know what all would have to be hooked up for the engine to run and not be in limp mode and what ECUs are compatible with what blocks.
What would you recommend for an 06 RSX Type S? I want to get your budget turbo build once it is available but I want to get the ECU first. Would you recommend the Haltech PLATINUM PRO or the Elite 1500? I will be taking the car down to Humble for tuning and I would like to keep A/C and cruise control. Thanks and Subbed!
I have a 1989 K24 CRX with a 2006 SI transmission. I installed a Rywire harness. Hondata installed on a 2004 ECM. Hondata is not reading speed. I have 12v, though, going to the CSS..?
😂 im old school i started messing with Honda's back in the early 2000s. My best friend from highschool was seriously the first person in my area Orlando Florida to a k swap his civic before there where any swap harnesses or Internet support lol. Anyway i just recently was financially able to start my k swap project like 10 years after he completed his lol.and i was so behind on information that i went with the hondata kpro v4 honestly because of price and the fact i could use a good used or cheap aftermarket engine harness. Long story short i realized after never sending it to a tuner wanted to do everything my self including the fab work for the turbo setup i realized it is very slow compared to the newer stuff and you made alot of good points because my car is definitely not a daily just a weekend ripper no ac no radio lol. Im 40 years old born 84 so the wraith movie and Johnny 5 is what got me into cars at a young age and my uncle dad where v8 Chevy guys back in the 90s 😂😂 who would of thought i would fall in love with import 4 cylinders they would always pick on me back then saying no replacement for displacement 😂 now i can say i have a v8 4-cylinder 😂 2.4l k24 torque reminds me of torque that Hondas didn't have back in the 90s
