I’ve got a larger spray with 200 gallons oxygenated bleach, I mix in Ivory dish soap to thicken it up and slow it’s downward flow. I soak a whole side in maybe 2-3 minutes I wait 20 then rinse down from the top. 30 minutes a whole side is done. I usually come back in a couple weeks and apply a sealer. The video has good results but I sure hope he has a bigger sprayer.
first always wet the wood first before applying your cleaner. and to the comment above never use a pressure washer with high pressure. low pressure rinse only or it will scar the wood
Glen Johnson I made the mistake of using high powered pressure washer and it literally took the first layer off the wood and looks horrible, now I’m stuck restraining the whole front of the house. Stupid mistake but learned the hard way.
I have a friend, who is a high school teacher, so has summers off. Every summer he does one side of his house. That includes windows and doors on that one side. With the house having five sides, his house looks fantastic. He just starts again, and has done it this way for decades. His house always looks amazing.
Wouldn't it be a little more expedient to power wash first and get the heavy stuff off, then use your cleaner? Less steps. The Ryobi Company makes an extendable power washer gun with a brush head, that would kill two steps right there then spray your cleaner, giver her a good rinse and a day or so to dry then seal it up.
Can I use this product in a pressure washer? It would take a week and a WHOLE Bunch of product to clean my roof like you are doing in the video! What's the ratio of product to water?
So, you're showing that you're using a lot if product and elbow grease OR just use a pressure washer to get the same results? I vote for just pressure washing and save money w/o the product.
