I use the RV antifreeze fill pump to fill my water heater tank. Drain antifreeze from water system. Rinse water lines. Open bypass valves. Use antifreeze fill hose to fill system with vinegar from jugs. I also make sure vinegar is in the lines to disinfect the lines. Turn on water heater till water is hot. Let sit over night. Drain and rinse. repeat as needed.

Thank you very much for your videos! I have a do Matic 6 gallon hybrid heater and you helped me to figure out what was wrong with it and why it wouldn’t heat in one of the other videos. But I did have a question for you. Now, the water comes out of that relief valve from time to time steaming hot and the water is extremely hot out of the faucet. I have turned it off for the time being, but was wondering what the problem could be with that. Thank you very much for all your informative videos! They are truly appreciated!
My thought would be to check the T-stat and the ECO. The Tstat should open up and loose continuity at 130-140 F and the ECO should open up at 180-190 F. I would get a temperature reading on the water and see if it is above either of those ranges and check continuity on the ECO and Tstat accordingly. If you're only getting 1 REALLY hot tank my guess would be a bad Tstat. And once you figure out the problem I would change out that P&T valve. If its opening up do to temperature than it needs to be replaced. If its just opening up due to pressure than you're good. Just my brain dump on what your problem could be off the top of my head.

Well done! Great video, I just wish I could show my customers the benefits of a cleaning. Quick question, if this is still in the RV, do you leave the pvc on the drain while it’s heating up? I’m wondering if I could manufacture a shut off valve at the breach so I didn’t need to leave the fill station attached. Thanks again
