I had intended to buy a brand new pcv breather kit for this Volvo V70 from 2004. I was able to clean everything, even the full oil trap. In this video, we come up with our own solution to the small plastic pipe that broke in episode 1. This plastic pipe is common for it to break. This solution with a silicon tube instead, I read afterwards that some have tried it, so I can't say that it is entirely my idea. It is important that you use the same diameter and thickness of hose because there is pressure in the engine. Most of those who have tried this have driven with the remains of the broken plastic pipe and have repaired with rubber or silicon hose.
The small plastic tube is not sold separately for all models of V70 S80 S60 but can be obtained on Volvo that fits a special engine. The article number for this is 30731007 and should work equally well for all engines. It is recommended to buy a brand new kit when it looks like it does in this Volvo V70. I think we succeeded really well with the cleaning of all the hoses and pipes, so we will reassemble everything and see how it works.
