Omg! You have no idea, how much your video pertained to my vehicle. I had 4 different codes at one time. But, for the most part was the P1101 code, (Induction Air Management) I tried new MAP sensor/ new MAF sensor. Nothing helped!! Until I took the throttle body off, and cleaned it really good. As soon as I seen the throttle body, I knew it had to be a issue. Sure enough, the car runs like a champ now. THANK YOU!!
Good video on throttle body cleaning. Only con I see is that you didn't put back the oil plug while you were working on the car and also clean the gasket around throttle body .Also best to torque throttle body bolts to manufacturer specs.
Be careful when removing throttle body inlet, those plastic clips love to fly off the clip and into the engine bay -.- need them to have a proper connection! 2:27
Careful when cleaning the electronic type throttle body, avoid taking your finger moving the plate you run the risk of damaging the throttle body and or throwing it out of calibration. If you damage it you will be replacing it, other than that good vid
To avoid that don't pull the tube out without making sure it doesn't get caught onto the dip stick. It would have been a costly problem if it ended in the engine where the oil cap was taken off. Make sure to push ring back in place to avoid it from snagging. Just my opinion 🤷
That was the black clip that goes over the metal clip....look at the lower side of the hose when he takes it off you'll see the black piece there, than at 2:28 when it Flys off you don't see it no more
Hello so I've been getting the code p1101(De-ice Air Intake system) and that was from Auto Zone so I went to o Reilly today and they say I need to clean my throttle body, and this has been going on for 3 months and I've taken it to chevy 3 times payed 800 dollar and they still have fixed it . This is crazy can u give me so advice. Please and thanks
This is year three.. but every year. Every 20,000 miles p1101 comes on. Nobody can tell me what is causing it. Chevy can't even tell me. All they do is a throttle body cleaning 290$ each time. The check engine light goes away after a few days after the cleaning but it stays off. I'm guessing these cars are made to be cleaned frequently. I actually spoke with Chevy last time and asked if I am suppose to just keep wasting money for throttle body cleanings. And they basically said yes and it's a known issue. Hoping by doing it myself, I will save myself the money. And I Def don't plan on ever buying another Chevy.

I own a 2015 Chrysler 200 limited. The thing is I have a loud noise coming from my air filter box. I done replace it and still a loud noise! done been to every shop i can think of no one knows..🤦🏽♀️ sorry about my comment cause this have nothing to do with the car in this video that your working on.
