Here in NC they just blow the manure out and no till plant afterwards. In fact my cousins are fixing to harvest in few weeks the triticale then plant silage corn. Here double cropping is common. Usually a fall winter crop of winter wheat or triticale is planted depending on if it’s crop land or silage land. Sometimes soybeans are a second crop but they are rotating after a fall corn crop. Most shelled corn is raised under contract to a large poultry company for there broiler houses scattered around here
