Hey guys I’m back! Wish I could throw more into this video but there’s so much little stuff to do. It’s super time consuming. Jeep stuff coming later this week 🤘🏻 Instagram @mikes4x4garage Sorry for the wait carter 4 is late
I've got the same truck with 499090 km on the clock as we speak. Replaced my bed a couple years ago, swapped out the fuel pump and evap canister at the same time while it was apart. Nice work.
Killer video man! Cant wait what you have planned out next for the Taco! Remind me of what I did to my old taco that I had with all the time and overhauling I did it it was a pain at first but it was all worth it! Miss my 🌮 so much! Love your videos keep it up!🙌🏾
You are going to do well in whatever you do. You have a good attitude and you are not ashamed to sarcastically point out your mistakes (which we all make).
There's something so satisfying about seeing you reverse someone's shotty work and bringing the truck back to what it should be. The whole time I'm like, that crappy hitch weld needs to go!
Not 100% sure if it works with Tacomas but on the older toyota pickups the passenger and drivers side seat cushions are interchangeable. We used that knowledge to get really nice 4runner buckets out of a pick and pull junkyard for a buddy's truck. Found two 4runners with the same interior color and good passenger seats, swapped cushions in the yard and he bought the clean pair.
Another great video Mike! Thanks. One day I’ll retire my wife’s gx460 and start an overland transformation on it. Till then I’ll just keep watching videos.
Love your conten! You just make this stuff look so easy, and seem to have no real plan, both at the same time....that's what I call genius!!! I'd love to see you make a video where you search a bit of the marketplaces for cars and share your thoughts about the car, like what you look for, how you decided on this one etc. Thanks for the awesome videos, greetings from Switzerland!
Cant wait for the front end videos! Ive got a ranger build that needs a bunch of front end work and would enjoy every minute of it when you get that video out! CHEERS
Looked immaculate compared to the interior of your last Taco! Nice job so far. Recommend a set of seat jackers, will make a world of difference driving. I put them in my 95 and 21 Taco's, no more leg fatigue.
You can really go somewhere with this RU-vid thing! All your videos are an easy watch that leaves you wanting more. If you had 50 vids out I’d probably binge them all! 😂
I have a 2004 Tacoma, same color, and so easy to work on. I recommend Durafit seat covers. I got a black pair made of fake leather (leatherette) and they fit and look great.
HEY BRO THIS TRUCK IS GREAT I HAVE THE SAME TRUCK I RUN THAT TRUCK FOR 7 YEARS AND SHIP IT TO MY COUNTRY IN THE CARIBBEAN ME MY SELF I DONT THINK TOYOTA COULD BUILD A TRUCK LIKE THIS AGAIN EVERYWHERE I GO WITH THAT TRUCK EVERYBODY WANTS IT SO YOUR TRUCK IS JUST AWESOME
Watching your videos makes me want to sell my newer Tacoma and buy an older one and fix it up. But the Tacoma market where I’m at is still relatively high for what you get
You are very lucky to find any TACO parts anywhere, every local junkyard in the northeast is cleaned out. I can't find a single major part that I need...
I noticed you using that milwaukee impact. Do you prefer MW vs Dewalt or other brands? If so why. Love your videos, your general positive attitude towards life, and your good work ethic man. Keep it up!
Thank you for all the kind words. I’m a huge Milwaukee fanboy. There are no other brands. Although I don’t hate makita. And honestly harbor freight has the best cheap angle grinders
Sell the fuel door, I sold mine for $50 on eBay. Thanks for saving the Tacoma, mine was in similar condition and it is satisfying to make them “better”…not perfect. Just better.
