A second container can be real handy. I bought a second container for my Anycubic wash/cure station. Nice for a water post wash, helps with white film when curing. But dang! The small container sizes and price are a non-starter!
i looked at this and thought maybe this is a lower price option -- and it's CRAZY expensive. I've been looking for a form wash station alternative and this ain't it.
You can use Mean Green to clean your prints, its just as effective and way cheaper than ipa. I'm not sure if it'll work with this washing station but I've seen others use it with an ultrasonic cleaner.
I've been thinking some time about buying a washing station but there is one thing holding me back. The box (big food container) that I now use to keep the IPA in, gets a sticky resin layer after some time. Cleaning is a messy job so I just replace the (cheap) container about every year. I'm curious to see how the containers on wash stations hold up or what I should do to prevent the resin build up in the container
That price is ridiculous. The only way that might be a decent price is if it was one LARGE vat, making it big enough to hold items printed big. Actually, now that I think of it... they could come out with an aftermarket vat that fits in the space that the two fit in, and you could activate both sides to get the agitators moving. They could even just do away with the double vats and repackage the thing as a single large vat wash station. My problem though is that it's still just a wash station, it does not double as a curing station, so really no matter what they do... what's the point? If they could sell it with the large vat as I said, and make it double as a curing station while leaving the price at $650, that would make it far more desirable.
Not worth it for that price if the tank was the full size and it cured prints too then maybe. I have the AnyCubic wash and cure and my god it has made things so much easier the clean up was the one thing I hated about resin printing and used it at the minimum now witg the wash and cure I love resin prints and dont like going back to fdm
I love the channel but every video I see starts with you apologizing. It's fine. Life is crazy, we get it. I don't even think you need to address it. We'll be here watching each one yearou put out, when you put it out.
