I always enjoy all of you private pilots including Baron Pilot & Kim, 310 Pilot & Jaime, Steveo 1 Kinevo & Capt Mindy and of course Premier 1 driver. It makes no sense for a student pilot to report Greg for nothing as the student should be watching and learning from a pilot with such vast experience. The student needs to learn don't bite the hand that teaches you! I thought it was great when Greg gave gave the Baron and Steveo some jet time. What a great Guy.I sure hope Greg continues to post.

Yea Greg Strong!!!!!! You pilots are a great collection of people. All have the best interests of fellow pilots at heart, well maybe not one individual. I like watching for things like that but to report someone and Greg no less, well all you pilots I know would still help this individual if they were in need and that is absolute integrity. Wish I could be in your awesome group but I cant be a pilot but pray maybe one day they will come up with bionic eyeballs.

I haven't flown since 2007. Might get back into it. Had a recent special issuance 3rd class medical and now may go for a basic med. Kim, heres a possible thing with the soda, If its extremely cold and you open it, the can depressurises, which in turn lowers the sodas temperature, and if it lowers it enough the soda will start to freeze. :-), great video, love the P1D ref.

Better check that pressurization if her drink is overflowing lol. Ya know, I don’t care what airplane it is, you will never regret getting AC. I had a 340 without and with, would never do it again. The 421 obviously had it and now the our King Air’s works better than all of them put together...my girlfriend carries a jacket in the summer when it’s 90-100 because it will get so chilly in the cabin. The extra money for maintenance isn’t even relevant after having it. Yes, it gets super hot here in Utah (well onto the 100s some summer days), but we don’t have the humidity. To me it feels like 125 when it’s 90 in Florida. Couldn’t even imagine not having it in Florida. Thanks for the series.

Nice! Respect P1D!! We got your back. Those are interesting power settings Kris. I fly a turbo as well, not a twin obviously but on the take off roll I can't push 30-31 inches of MP or I'll risk over boosting my engine. I'll take off with 27" of MP, climp with 27" of MP and then in cruise roll back to 24 squared MP and prop. I was surprised to see you increased to 33" of MP and with a lower RPM. I fly props on top or just square it. Interesting power settings my friend. Those twins are probably bigger than my O-540 though. Great vid! Isn't that AC nice! We do love ours flying in TX. Ohhhhh you got called out bro!!! SIC needs some diamond bling!

Okay, great shout out for Greg, and I hope he feels the love. Next question. I was taught that as we climb, the oxygen content diminishes, which is why we lean. Yes, I understand that atmospheric pressure decreases, but it's the oxygen that is crucial for combustion. Now, I've not flown a turbocharged engine, so I'm not experienced, but boosting the manifold pressure keeps the pressure up, but isn't the oxygen content still diminishing? With a power setting of 33", why lean if you're still over sea level pressure? Why not just reduce power to an acceptable fuel flow? If the pressure is above 29", or even 25" (typical for take off power in a normally aspirated airplane) then why not just not lean? I'm uneducated and confused.

Gary, the ratio of oxygen to nitrogen never changes. the density of the AIR falls as you gain altitude, thus fewer molecules O2 and N2 per cubic foot of air at altitude = less power.

Well....I hate to admit it but Kim is right on point with that remark about the triangle versus the diamond. I'm afraid I'm going to have to report you to the FAA for that mistake. :) Greg is right on with his remarks. I hope he doesn't let one bad apple ruin the experience for him. There always has to be a jerk or two in the mix who thinks he can impress somebody by shooting off his mouth.

The Greg event is a typical event that happens alot, Its the difference between experience and none experience. He read the situation and did his bit to help it work out for fellow pilots, It was dangerous he had the turn sorted, he had momentum. By the time he had said it and the fellow pilot react he was well clear, I mean he is a mile away.

At controlled tower airports, ATC routinely clears a guy to take off from the runway I'm still on all the time, but it only happens when I'm way down the runway and clearly turning to exit, and the next guy hasn't even entered the runway yet. I talked to the tower controllers and they said they could do that as long as there was some minimum amount of separation (I think 1500ft? I could be wrong)

I love the title of your video! I, like many here, support Greg and have his back. Fux to the little douche canoe that felt empowered to turn him in. In this video I really liked the extra footage on the startup and the engine management differences compared to your Baron. I really missed Kim doing comms though.
