​@@coatguy2990 as far as i understood Satan is more seen as an angel that judges the sins of mankind after death. I could be wrong about that though. The devil as you said is something entirely different though.

​​​​@@klaus.sfc01official30 Satan is more or less Mastema in irl lore. Or more accurately, Mastema the archangel is likely the angel referred to as Satan/The Adversary in Judeo-Christian lore. He petitioned god to let him torment and tempt mortal souls, as he believed there was "great wickedness" in them. Basically "if you fall to Mastema's temptation, you were never good enough to reach heaven." God then allows 10% of the nephilim to remain on earth as demons, under Mastema's guidance, to aid him in leading the mortals astray. It's a really obscure bit of lore from the book of jubilee.

So in short, the skill is trash unless you're fighting a bunch of enemies

@@blastmole299 well in vengeance most of the fight is a multi-enemy fight, especially the super boss. Also boss like lahmu count ass multi enemies because of his tentacle

@@blastmole299 Only trash when there's only one enemy. It still deals higher damage than megidolaon when there're two enemies. And if there're more than two, the damage goes insane.

Sadly still does fuck all damage even in optimal conditions, stats, and skill setup compared to other unique skills. Coolest animation by far imo, but performance is sus as shit.

Most of the demons in this game is recruitable. The only non recruitable demons is True angel Lucifer, nahobinos (yakumo, dazai, yuzuru), two new vengeance bosses, and mitamas.

@@TimurSokol yeah you can add him to your party once you defeat him but each new game cycle you will need to beat him again before you can recruit him knowing that he's the most powerful character in the game. I recommend you to het Demifiend in your party before fighting satan

Lucifer’s Root Of Evil is better than Megido Ark since it does automatically severe damage while also removing charge and barrier effects(No red charging moves for opponents)

If you thought that’s bad he can fully heal himself as many times as he wants unlike other bosses who can fully heal they can only do it once while Satan anytime(I think it’s something to do with the number of enemies)

Satan is a title. It just means adversary; the antagonist in a tale for the protagonist to overcome. Notice how an antagonist is not necessarily a villain. Sometimes "the Devil" is the satan in the story, but more often, an angel acts as the satan commanded by God to test mankind. Thus, Law aligned.

Satan in judaism is a servant of God who tests and judges people. He's also the prosecutor when those who die are judged on whether they go to heaven or not.

@@jokermorningstar5816 Unless you cheese him, he's much harder. Megido ark will trigger and will randomly kill you or your demons every few turns (unless you or they have 999 vitality), so you're forced to revive demons constantly, while still killing his adds constantly (they heal him and damage you). You can't cheese him with repel phys, and I'm pretty sure he has more health than demi-fiend.

1. harder, i couldnt beat him even with demi fiends resistances and skills on hard 2. yes, you can fuse him. I don't know how to unlock the lucifer fusion though. I just got it once I got into godborne after defeating "a very powerful" enemy at the very end of the game.

Although frolic did get a price nerf to a base price of 180 in vengeance, it’s beaten out by skills like boss demi fiend’s gaea rage of 250 bass mp cost and a certain godess’s unique skill costing 200 base mp cost. Most likely was nerfed to discourage spam as it was a war cry + taunt + charm which was pretty strong even without the low mp cost
