Thank you Will for this video, it was exactly what I was looking for and really easy to follow! I have a code question. Is it possible to adjust the code so that navigation title is translated by the multi-lingual Weglot translator? At the moment my two clickable folders are the only parts of the website that won't be translated, which must be because of the extra coding. Do you have any ideas? Thanks!

When I add this code it works (sometimes) - the folder links are clickable on desktop but sometimes they glitch out and the pages seems to reload 3-4x before opening. Mobile works perfectly. The site is still being developed so it isn't live, and I am wondering if it is just happening because its also in editor mode, and the url isnt connected yet. Thank you for this! I am having trouble with this method working when not in the squarespace platform. When the folder is clicked through on a browser an error message appears saying there is no link to any page, but when it is clicked through within squarespace editor it works just fine. Any ideas as to how to fix?

Hi Will -- does this code need any tweaking for a " .com.au " domain? When I add the code to a site I'm currently working on, it sort of adds an extra /.au/ to the folder's URL, if that makes sense.

Thanks! Works perfect on desktop, however not on mobile. When I tap on the newly created button, it stays inactive. And also it is different text size (smaller) as the rest of the text on dropdown menu. Any ideas how to get that button active and same size letters?

This works but now my navigation header or title in the menubar above the drop down when active wont highlight with underline like other header titles when active

Ah this is great, but I'm struggling using it with the 'Events' feature, it shows 'All Events' as the mobile submenu, rather than Events, I have no idea how to fix this, does anyone have a suggestion? Essentially, the mobile menu has added a secondary option 'All Events'. Linking out doesn't work either, the same 'All Events' appears. It doesn't appear when I don't use the above code.

This is excellent code! I too, however am experiencing a "flashing" effect when I installed the code on my site. When you click on the "folder" link, it does take you to the correct page, it's just that the page "refreshes" itself automatically like twice. I think that's what the other commenter below me was also trying to express when she says "it loads double time." Is there any way to straighten that out?

Don't forget the second slash people! :-) I was afraid this code wasn't working for a second folder in my navigation, but I simply forgot the final slash in the URL.

Hello Will I am hoping you can help me. I have two folders on my site. One is called Inspiration and the other the folder named "Ispirazione". They are identical however Ispirazione is not displaying the contents when clicked on it on mobile devices, it goes to a black screen. I asked squarespace for help and they told me the problem was resolved by disabling scripts. They sent me to a link to try it myself and I just couldn't find it and can't find anywhere on the internet to show me where this is on my site. Regardless to that, when I took all the items out of the folder they worked fine and I was able to see them on my cell phone...Considering there are no scripts when making a folder I am a bit confused at to why the one folder works and the other does not on the cellphone, they both work on the computer. I have page head code injections because my site is bilingual so when someone is in English they won't see the Italian and visaversa. I have uploaded the drop down menu in English, the italian Ispirazione with an arrow and what happens when you click on it. This is the code I have for the cell phone @media screen and (max-width:1511px){ #header .header-menu-nav-item:nth-child(1){ display:none } #header .header-menu-nav-item:nth-child(2){ display:none } Any help would be appreciated.
