The complete package!!! Total nostalgia. Amazing songs - some known really well, but great variety with some not so well known. Top notch vocals, amazing harmonies, superb musicians, delightful humour and awesome film production. What more could one ask for???

I saw these live in Coventry back in the 60's at the Hippodrome ( no longer there now ) but they got me into playing the guitar which led me to playing with quite a few well know musicians.
Love to see them perform after so many yrs., they're all legends, they are like gems, so precious, very talented in their own rights, God bless you boys.
I first saw Cliff and the Shadows in Blackpool around 1958, and again Manchester 1959/60. Then the Shadows in Melbourne twice in the 90s. Hank started my lifetime love of the guitar and the Strat. 🎸
I saw them first in 1974 in Leningrad, Russia. Since then I fell in love with them and their music altogether... Greetings from Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Hv remained simple and grounded as they were when we first heard them in our early teens! It's like listening to our LP records or Albums, can swear by every note!
I completely agree with you. The journalists say that the Rolling Stones are a phenomenon, because of their longevity. Haha, they don't even think of the Shadows and Cliff, who were superstars when the Stones began to sing...

I was just wondering while watching this, but that Strat that Bruce Welsch is playing rhythm on, is that THE STRAT that was used by Hank when recording Apache in 1960? Cliff has always said it should go to Hank if it should go to anybody. But Bruce won't give it up. So is that IT that we are seeing on the stage, but with the tremolo arm removed? Hiding in plain sight? Bruce, do come clean - you know WHO should be playing that strat and it is not you!
Would Hank actually be playing it nowadays ?? Hank has been playing very customised Strats for a very long time & has tended to "pass on" guitars that he's no longer playing. Not sure the Strat Bruce is playing IS that original 59 model (which in any case would've passed through a number of renovations) but I doubt Hank is too hung up about him hanging onto it as its clearly in the hands of someone who truly values it.
