Okay since you're so up on science 42,000 years ago when the polls were shifting why don't you check and see what the scientists say the climate was doing then and our poles are in the process of finishing shifting now And I want you to think about nuclear energy that stuff is poisonous for 10,000 years and we're using it and putting it in ground Are you truly a 🐂💩🤡 Democratic socialists are you just didn't think about it all the way through Please educate yourself if you want to know about science but don't believe Propaganda whore Vic Dic is paid to talk 🐂💩
Anyone denying Climate Change should be ashamed of themselves, we all have 1 world to share…..the environment doesn’t belong just to Americans …thanks Vic 🩵🇦🇺
My buddy, who was an air force meteorologist, said, "The Republican evangelicals have been saying for years that weather disasters are an act of God. Now the Retrumplicans a saying that the Democrats control the weather. Does that mean they think the Democrats are God?" That same buddy was the one who referred me to your utube videos saying, "Watch this guy's videos and share them with others." Thanks for the down to earth sanity of your commentary.
NO the democrats only control the ILLEGALS, But NO the definitely control the bias media which SPEWS this GARBAGE scaring our kids!!! NOAA has tracked these storms since the late 1800’s, how many and how strong…. Their data is no more or no less, hitting the exact same states time and again… I was told growing up on Cape Cod in elementary school back I the late 60’s early 70’s that the sea was going to rise sinking our sand spit and home. My grandfather owned a fishing pier on the river since 1920 and the water is exactly the same depth it has been since 1920. Stop scaring these young kids!!!
People like you just want to believe what the Democratic socialists tell you instead of really going to become an educated person the polls on the earth have been shifting 42,000 years ago it did the same thing and they discovered the climate was not being consistent just like now
When I was young and we were working on the farm, my grandfather (who was born in 1901) would talk to me about how the weather was different when he was a boy. My grandfather had to quit school to help work the family farm before he finished elementary school but he was a natural scientist. He noticed things, he measured things, and he kept records. He was well aware that the climate was changing in the 1960s.
Yep. Republican MTG: California wildfires are caused by Jewish space lasers Republican DJT: Climate change is a hoax Republican DJT: Rake the forests to prevent wildfire in California [one imagines all 33 million Ca. wildland acres being raked with a hand tool] Normies (who just happen to live in California): Severe drought + no rain for 6 months (normal for California) + wildlands so dry if you breathe on a twig it might burst into flame + hurricane force winds + rim on flat tire hitting pavement, creating sparks (Carr Fire 2018) = major wildfire burning 229,651 acres (Carr Fire 2018)
Makes you wonder how they can both deny man-made climate change then accuse Dems of controlling the weather. One would think the cognitive dissonance would make their heads explode.
In Phoenix we finally just started having below 110+ degree temps the last couple of days. We've set new records for the amount of days over 110, 100, and even high record low temps in the night. We literally have native saguaro cactus that aren't adjusting to the increased temps and dying all over. It's not just the saguaro cactus struggling others too like golden barrel cactus. If cactus 🌵 plants are dying from the heat like a canary in the coal mine, the outlook isn't very good. So lets just continue to stick our heads in the sand and deny the reality all around us, that will certainly help the situation.
And blame everybody else for not trying harder if we knew it was a big deal... I have a acquaintance (old friend now supporting trump) repeating that climate change is not man made and that earth will survive without us. What type of answer is that?! They are in a death cult. They are rooting for the end of our world and hope for a mad max future. They'd set a bbq inside the living room and will rather keep grilling than do anything about it.
In AZ. We just had the hottest summer on record, the hottest September on record, and as of two days ago set daily high temp records every day in October so far. No one can tell me climate change isn't real.
Mr. Meyers, another fine video, thank you. Hey, look on the "bright side"! Luckily, there is *NO* Climate Change in Florida (you know, that state in the southeast that was just walloped by maybe the worst hurricane ever). . . why? Well, because *REPUBLICAN* Governor Ron DeSantis signed a law back in March so that the term "Climate Change" can't be used in Florida. This law was effective as of July 1. Nice, eh? Vic, I spent a lot of my life growing up in the Sierra Foothills of Northern California. When I was young, weather would start to cool by late August, by Mid-September there might be a first, light, frost; mid-October might bring a welcome first light dusting of snow. Today is October 11, pretty much mid-October - or close to it, anyway. Just now, on the National Weather Service website, I checked the temperature in the town where I used to live. Yesterday's high was 80*. Cooling, some, from summer's highs, yes - but the thought of snow in mid-October up there these days is nothing more than a pipe dream. Sure seems like Climate Change to me.
Exactly he passed a law that went in to effect October 1st. Climate change can not be used in any documents nor will it be mentioned in schools nor can black history be taught. He's attempting to dumb down Florida.
Yes. Northern Californian here. The past week a half... temperatures were still in the upper 90's reaching 105° several days. One hour drive north of San Francisco.
@@71suns Thanks, @71suns. I live a bit north of Stockton, Ca., these days. Not the foothills anymore, sadly. We had one day last week here where my digital weather station, and my outdoor, old-fashioned mercury wall thermometer were both in agreement: 110* @ 4:30 p.m. And, again, this is mid-October. As you know, this part of California's Central Valley isn't desert - it is one of the prime agricultural areas of the country, sometimes called "the breadbasket of America". At least for now. There won't be too many crops that will grow here if temperatures continue to increase - just too hot for your average vegetable crop to grow.
Ive lived on the East coast most of my life,...& Ive never seen so much damage 300 miles inland. Its not that difficult to understand whats going on. Vote Harris/Walz.
It's always amazed me, that more people aren't upset about the Republicans not taking the very real threats of climate change seriously. In other aspects of life, people would resent people recklessly endangering their and their loved ones health safety and welfare why not in this respect? The right to life crowd couldn't care less about the reality of climate change, it appears.
Folks have been warning a climate crisis was coming at least since the 70s. They were ignored. The warnings ramped up in the 90s and it was called a hoax. Now its upon us. Its not a climate crisis is coming, but rather the climate crisis has started and its going to get worse. Sadly, in addition to the deniers, many who do perceive the issue do not comprehend the cause. Most of what they focus on, e.g. fossil fuels, is a symptom, not the cause. The core cause of climate change is human overpopulation. But most people do not want to admit that.
That is the main reason I made a conscious decision not to have kids. The purpose for reproduction by animals is to continue the species and prevent extinction. If an animal reproduces itself into extinction that defeats the entire purpose of reproduction. Humans reproduce because they are programmed to think it is for family, love, what god wants etc... In reality the super wealthy want the peasants to multiply so they have an ample supply of slaves to do their bidding.
The capitalist egemony requires population increase to survive. Stagnant birth means stagnant buying power. Competition between world power pushes us down the drain. The only solution is cooperation, but for that to be effective, we need a strong control on corruption. And that would require merrit based leadership.
Somehow it became politically incorrect to talk about overpopulation, after the 1990s or so. However, the issue is BOTH. We were pumping way too much carbon into tha atmosphere even in the later 20th century when the population was around half of what it is today. We can also blame growth (trend toward large homes) and certain technology: we went from a world where folks had small iceboxes and no a/c, to a world with huge refrigerators in many homes, and many/most homes and buildings being climate-controlled 24/7/365.

Colorado just had its second hottest summer on record, and its hottest September on record. As of now, the forecast still calls for high seventies, low eighties for at least another week. Colorado’s weather can certainly be interesting. We’re well known for starting a week in the 90s and ending it in the 20s (I think it was in September 2021 or 2022 when the temperature dropped 70 degrees in one day. I was outside to watch and experience a wall of snow turn my 60 degree hike into a 15-20 degree hike in a matter of minutes). But this year, the weather’s been strangely consistent and hot. And I hate it. I want it to snow, or at the very least, feel like fall. Instead, I’m still watering my flowers and mowing the lawn. Weather forecasters believe we may get our latest first snowfall on record this year. My friend went pronghorn hunting last week in a T shirt and shorts. Honestly, I’m sick of experiencing “record-breaking weather” every damn week lmao
I'll bet you there's a correlation between loss of outdoor space and climate change. I've hiked in fields and forests since the 60s and many many of them are gone (developed).
I'm 61, when I was a kid. I remember riding my bike home to get ready for trick or treating. I remember a cold front came threw. It was like a letteral wall of cold. Hot then cold. It would stay cold from that moment on until April or March. We used to have ice storms. Some times even snow. That was something normal and expected every year. Last year in Central Texas. We did not have a winter. Clemet change is real. To all you old folks out there. What was it like when you were a kid? Has any thing changed in your area???
All I can say is that those who don't believe what is right before them or just choose to ignore it mean that money and power mean more to them than anything else.
Just yesterday one of my family members brought up the talking point that the earth has been warming for thousands of years, they're a Trump supporter so I didn't take the bait. The next thing was that they knew a book that said the world would be destroyed by fire the next time. It was difficult, but I resisted that one, too. Fire means heat, after all. Edit: typo.
Thank you, Vic! The hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, drought and wildfires are only going to get more violent and numerous! Folks can deny climate change, but Mother Nature won't. 💙V💙O💙T💙E💙 💙B💙L💙U💙E💙 For the coming generations. Edit: Climate change migration is coming worldwide.
Funny thing, you are the first commentator I have noticed that stated the obvious fact that the rising oceans don't mean more beachfront but less. The water covers the land, creating more OCEAN. Simple common sense seems to be lacking in so many things.
Climate change is young people's top issue, as global meltdown is going to adversely affect them to the point that civilization itself will struggle within the next couple decades. 🌎
Deny all they will...But that will not change the effects that will happen especially to them...Reality is their enemy and lies and mis-facts are their mantra all enabled from their "Guy" that promotes this to everybody's chagrin....And this problem will get worse...until addressed...Peace
The aging rancher character dressed in the Sam Elliott Starter Kit is very convincing. At least they glued his mustache on straight for this one. But the brand new hat is a dead giveaway that this is staged. Maybe same production crew that tried to pull off the Patriot Front hoaxes. 😂😂😂
Nice try, dude/dudette. That hat looks pretty well-worn to me. And guess what? I'm not gonna wear my crushed-up, cow-stomped hat to make a video that can potentially be seen by millions. That would be gross!! Even if it looked brand-spanking-new (which it doesn't), so what? Even hats worn by all of us free-thinking rural people need to be replaced more often than you might guess. What's in your wallet?
The US generates 20.3% of its energy from renewable sources, ranked 126th in the world. That is the same as Dominica, less than Russia and fractionally above India. China generates 28.6%, ranked 99th. Here in the UK we are on 40.4%, 82nd in the world. There are 70 countries in the world generating more than 50%. We see ourselves as progressive and world leading in sciences. We need to step up.
Regarding the tornadoes from hurricanes, the data from an NBC news article states from 1995 through 2023 just five tornadoes produced from hurricanes were rated EF3. This year alone, we’ve had four out of five hurricanes that produced EF3 intensity tornadoes. Data doesn’t lie. They said we have seen an abnormally high number of strong tornadoes this year year.
The hurricanes are just gonna keep getting more inland too. This is a disaster. Hurricanes should never be that far off the coast. And I'm not sure what the prediction is but I feel like we're gonna see the end of Florida in my lifetime. I'm 37
Got your back on this one. I was listening to the Florida whether months ago and the ocean temperature was in the high numbers, 98 degrees and I thought that can’t be good. Guess it wasn’t. Sold our Gulf Shores condo after Hurricane Katrina and never looked back. Kicking it down the road. No more water front.
There is one thing that was done in the past, the forest was always cared for. Not just looked at. It took thousands of years to get the timing right. In the 70’s I remember it being asked”Are we entering the next Ice Age” , , . The question was put forth due to Florida oranges getting hit with frost. Earlier than that a story from Fort BABINE BC Canada. In and around a time the Fish and game management tore down the Fish Weir System and told the people to use nets. Ten feet of snow accumulated the year. The nets were rotten and not enough food was put up. All was related to the management of the resources. After thousands of years, resources were managed for future people to survive. With all that is modern, ya still have to go out, open the canopy, burn the little sticks and keep clean water. Enough for now, thank you, strength and love.
Florida is really lucky, isn't it? Since REPUBLICAN Governor Ron Desantis signed a law so you can't say "Climate Change" in Florida, I guess that means Climate Change in Florida just doesn't exist.
Could you please do a video explaining why we need to help Ukraine? People are defending not funding fema because " the money will go to Ukraine " i am not eloquent enough to explain these things to people in a way they'll understand
Prayers to the victims.......we have hurricanes every year so that's a stupid point. Inconvenient fact......the climate on this planet has always changed!!!!!!!!!! At no point in this planet history has the climate ever been static. Oh and the scientists argument. We did listen to the scientists about covid and they were 100% wrong.
The climate changes, there is no "Climate Crisis". The National Hurricane center reported that Helene made land fall at winds of 140mph, but the weather stations and the University of Alabama Huntsville mobile weather unit reported winds at 60mph. I don't know where you live but judging by the accent, I'll say in the American Southwest. In 850 C.E the region went into a drought that lasted 240 years, then it rained for 50 or sixty years, then the region went into a smaller drought that lasted only 170 years......... I guess the droughts were caused by those pesky native Americans cooking food and heating themselves. CO2 is good for the planet, the Sahara is greening, the world has greened 33% since 1900, because of CO2. Fossil fuels (hydro-carbons), cuts down on deforestation, and decreases health issues associated with burning dung to cook and heat. You maybe 56, but I'm 57, and I can tell you that you have not done your homework.
No not every weather event. Yes been happening since the dawn of time. But humans are making it worse!! Two category 5 hurricanes in a row? I suppose you believe the democrats are controlling the weather also?? I don’t care either way. I’ll be dead soon. I’m as old as the dawn of time!! But if you’re young, get used to it. I live in Oregon. It used to be a very green state. Fresh water and plants all over!! It’s getting very dry here!! The world is changing yes. But like I said humans are helping right along to further its destruction!!
I am 78 and agree with this man on so many things. He is not old just wise. Living through so many interesting times. Trump just never learned about the world just thought about himself. Sad and so wrong for the future of this country. Vote blue💙🌻
