Ingraham Glacier is one of the most dangerous places on Rainier. June 1981: 11 climbers died there in a matter a minute. Looong before we used the Cowlitz glacier - Cathedral gap route. We went straight up the Cowlitz glacier from Camp Muir. We went through a gap of Gibraltar and a place called cadaver gap (aptly named) then onto the Ingraham glacier.
Congrats on your success! Have you considered Denali as a future challenge? I just made it to the top of Rainier using the same route as you, and now I'm looking into Denali for myself.
I think Denali would kill me XD. We were looking at the possibility of trying Aconcagua though. It'd be a good test of the increased altitude without being too technical and without as much elevation gain. Best of luck!

Um, I think there may be a little bit of confusion lol. We didn't have an African American Climber in the group. I believe you may be confusing our South Asian Climber. Sounds awesome though that your getting a group together! Best of luck!
