Climbing my First Knife Edge in Scotland's Mountains, Glencoe! The Bidean nam Bian Range offers fantastic scrambles and climbs above and next of Glencoe's Lost Valley. In this video we are scrambling up to Gearr Aonach via "The Zigzags" (Scramble Grade 1) and the Dorsal Arete (Scramble Grade Moderate). The Dorsal Arete is quite vegetated in places but the sharp knife edge section is extremely memorable - not just because it was my first one in the Scottish Mountains!
